Biodegradable absorbent articles
A biodegradable, disposable absorbent article, such as a diaper, having a non-woven inner layer of natural fibers and a non-woven outer layer of natural fibers and a treatment applied to at least one surface thereof. The treatment includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of waxes, urethanes, silicones, fluorocarbons, and non-fluorochemical repellents. The absorbent article has a core of natural fibers or fibrous material, and optionally polyacrylate superabsorbent particles, positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer. The article may contain polylactic acid films between the layers.
STRETCHABLE FILM AND ARTICLE COMPRISING SAME
Provided is a stretchable film having excellent stretchability, excellent air permeability, and an excellent deodorizing property. Also provided is an article including such stretchable film. A stretchable film of the present invention is a film having stretchability, and includes a deodorant. The stretchable film of the present invention is a film having stretchability, and has a deodorization efficiency for each of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide 3 hours after the start of a deodorization test, the deodorization efficiency being measured by a detector tube method, of 10% or more.
NON-SLIP COTTON SANITARY PAD
Disclosed is a non-slip cotton sanitary pad, including a pad body, configured such that a cotton lining, an absorption pad and a waterproof cover are sequentially stacked, and a pair of wings protruding from both sides of the pad body, wherein the pair of wings protruding from both sides of the pad body includes a fastener so that the wings are fastened together in a folded state on the same surface, the cotton sanitary pad is disposed such that the waterproof cover contacts underwear, and the waterproof cover includes a non-slip member on the surface contacting the underwear.
DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A disposable absorbent article, having a front-back direction that is perpendicular to a width direction and a thickness direction that extends from a skin contact surface side to a non-skin contact surface side of a wearer, includes: an absorbent constituent; a liquid-permeable topsheet that is disposed on the skin contact surface side of the absorbent constituent; and a leakage-preventing sheet that is disposed on at least one of an outside, in the thickness direction, of the absorbent constituent, and an outside, in the width direction, of the absorbent constituent. The leakage-preventing sheet includes a water repelling layer including a nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric of the water repelling layer includes fiber and has an average fiber diameter of 0.5 to 10 m. The water repelling layer includes a water repelling section where a group of particles adhere to a surface of the fiber.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article capable of giving a sense of security to a user is provided. The absorbent article includes a nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric includes organic cotton fibers and thermoplastic synthetic fibers. The organic cotton fibers form a plurality of fiber lumps in the nonwoven fabric. The surface of the organic cotton fibers is not coated with a petroleum-derived oil agent.
FABRICS INCLUDING A BARRIER COATING AND HYGIENE ARTICLES INCLUDING THE SAME
A fabric suitable as an alcohol repellent fabric is provided. The fabric includes a fibrous substrate including a first outermost surface and a second outermost surface, in which a non-fluorinated barrier coating (NFBC) or a fluorinated barrier coating (FBC) is located on at least a portion of a first outermost surface of the fabric, at least a portion of a second outermost surface of the fabric, or both.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES COMPRISING NONWOVEN MATERIALS HAVING IMPROVED THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY
Described herein are nonwoven materials including a plurality of fibers. At least some of the plurality of fibers include a filler. The plurality of fibers have a Thermal Conductivity from about 0.25 W/m/K to about 70 W/m/K.
INCONTINENCE PAD CONFIGURED FOR USE WITH A WATER-SOLUBLE ADHESIVE
Various embodiments for a washable and reusable absorbent incontinence pad are disclosed. An incontinence pad may include a top layer configured to be positioned against skin of a wearer, a bottom layer configured to be positioned against an undergarment, a moisture-absorbing inner layer, and a water-resistant inner layer. The moisture-absorbing inner layer and the water-resistant inner layer may be positioned between the top layer and the bottom layer. A raised coating layer may also be laminated on the bottom layer, where the raised coating layer is configured to retain a water-soluble adhesive thereon to secure the incontinence pad to an undergarment. The water-soluble adhesive may be configured to fully wash away from the pad and garment and make the pad removable from the undergarment without damaging the undergarment or leaving a substantial amount of residue thereon.
ACYCLIC ANTIVIRALS
Disclosed herein are nucleotide analogs, methods of synthesizing nucleotide analogs and methods of treating diseases and/or conditions such as a HBV and/or HDV and/or HIV infection with one or more nucleotide analogs
