ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH PROFILED ACQUISITION-DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
An absorbent article (20) having an absorbent core comprising at least about 80% of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) by weight of its absorbent material. An acquisition-distribution system (ADS) (50) is at least partially disposed between the absorbent core and the topsheet. The ADS extends in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article at least from a point A1 disposed at a distance D from the front edge to a point A2 disposed at a distance D from the back edge of the article, D being equal to 32% of the length L of the article. The ADS has a basis weight which may be at least 20% lower at the point A2 than at the point A1.

Disposable absorbent hygiene product comprising absorbent assembly
A disposable absorbent hygiene product is provided, including a main part having a body facing surface intended to face the body of a user and a garment facing surface intended to face away from the body of a user. The main part includes a liquid permeable topsheet at the body facing surface, a liquid impermeable backsheet at the garment facing surface, and an absorbent assembly arranged between the topsheet and the backsheet. In front and back regions of the absorbent assembly, the absorbent assembly includes cellulosic fibers mixed with super absorbent polymers, with a central region of the absorbent assembly providing from 70% to 100% of the total retention capacity of the absorbent assembly.
Absorbent core with profiled distribution of absorbent material
An absorbent core for absorbent articles such as diapers comprising a core wrap comprising a top side and a bottom side, an absorbent material between the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap, a first and second longitudinally-extending channel-forming areas disposed on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis and substantially free of absorbent material preferably through which the top side of the core wrap is preferably attached to the bottom side of the core wrap. The core has a central absorbent zone between the first and the second channel-forming areas and a first and second lateral absorbent zones disposed laterally outwardly. The basis weight of the absorbent material in the central absorbent zone is higher than the basis weight of the absorbent material in each of the lateral absorbent zones for at least a first transversal section (S1). This relation is inverted along a second transversal section (S2) of the core. The first and second sections have each a length in the longitudinal direction of at least 10 mm.
COMPOSITE ABSORBENT TAPE
A composite tape (1) is provided comprising one or more matrices (2) of high thickness polymeric fibres comprising pores; at least one first layer (3) in contact with the matrix (2) and including a mixture (30) at least in part penetrating the pores, and comprising, mutually mixed together, a plurality of cellulose particles (31), and a plurality of continuous first polymer filaments (32) defining, before being mixed with the particles (31), a development axis (32a) and defining at least in part a plurality of mutually identical outlines (33) arranged in succession along the development axis (32a); a second layer (4) of continuous second polymer filaments (40) forming a surface layer of the tape (1) and placed in contact with the matrix (2) and/or the first layer (3) without penetrating the pores; wherein the outline (33) is determined on a section plane (32b) normal to the development axis (32a), defining a first extension area on the section plane (32b) and being inscribable in a circle determined on the section plane (32b) and defining a second extension area on the section plane (32b); and wherein the first extension area is less than 90% of the second extension area.
ABSORBENT CORE WITH PROFILED DISTRIBUTION OF ABSORBENT MATERIAL
An absorbent core for absorbent articles such as diapers comprising a core wrap having a top side and a bottom side, an absorbent material between the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap, a first and second longitudinally-extending channel-forming areas disposed on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis and substantially free of absorbent material preferably through which the top side of the core wrap is preferably attached to the bottom side of the core wrap is presented. The core has a central absorbent zone between the first and the second channel-forming areas and a first and second lateral absorbent zones disposed laterally outwardly.
Breathable absorbent article
An absorbent article including a non-woven substrate of one or more layers of meltblown fibers and a first layer of spunbond fibers and a second layer of spunbond fibers. The absorbent article further includes an absorbent core comprising at least one of fibers or a superabsorbent polymer. At least one of the non-woven substrate or the absorbent may be treated with an alcohol repellency (AR) treatment.
