The absorbent core comprises a first and a second non-woven layer comprising pulp fibers, and in between thereof a composting-stimulating layer comprising charcoal.

A diaper includes a liquid-pervious top-sheet; a liquid-impervious back-sheet; and a liquid-absorbent spiderweb core between the liquid-pervious top-sheet and the liquid-impervious back-sheet, wherein the liquid-absorbent spiderweb core comprises a plurality of radial lines radiating outward from a central point, and wherein the liquid-absorbent spiderweb core is outward-extendable omni-directionally.
