ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A core press and a lateral absorber embossment are formed at least on a surface of an absorber facing an upper-side sheet. The core press is formed by depressing the absorber toward a back-side sheet such that spaces are formed between the absorber and the upper-side sheet and the thickness of the absorber is reduced in the thickness direction. The lateral absorber embossment is formed in a central portion in the width direction of the absorber and extends substantially in the width direction. A non-pressed part is formed along the periphery of the lateral absorber embossment by omitting the core press in a position where the core press overlaps the lateral absorber embossment and in the vicinity of the lateral absorber embossment. A longitudinal surface embossment is formed on an outer surface of the upper-side sheet by depressing the upper-side sheet and the absorber together toward the back-side sheet such that the longitudinal surface embossment extends in the longitudinal direction in a central portion in the width direction of the absorbent article and crosses the lateral absorber embossment.

Disposable hygiene article
The disclosure relates to a disposable hygiene article comprising an absorbent core which has first and second areas. The second area is located centrally in the middle portion of the article and extends longitudinally along a centre axis, transversally and symmetrically in a transverse direction towards each side edge of the core and in a thickness direction of the article. The second area protrudes outwards from a plane of the first area, and covers from 5-15% of a total area of the core. The first area surrounds the second area and covers the remainder of the total area of the core. The second area has grammage higher than grammage of the first area. The second area is integrated with the first area, and the second area is surrounded by a discontinuous embossing pattern which conforms to the shape of the second area of the core.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE
To enable an absorbent article to fit easily around the legs when worn and to improve fit. A pad which includes a polymer sheet having a superabsorbent polymer disposed between two nonwoven fabric sheets. Planar-shaped linear embossed grooves that protrude inward in a width direction from each side edge are formed at positions of the polymer sheet on which the groin of a wearer abuts when worn. Standing gathers BS that rise along a longitudinal direction on a skin side are formed on both side portions on the skin side. Regions that are surrounded by the embossed grooves tend to deform around the legs with the embossed grooves as flexible shafts, so that the polymer sheet fits easily around the legs when worn and fit is improved.

FEMININE HYGIENE ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED LIQUID HANDLING
An absorbent article having a liquid-handling system includes a liquid permeable bodyside liner; a liquid impermeable outer cover; and an absorbent core disposed between the liner and the outer cover, wherein the absorbent core has a longitudinal direction, wherein the absorbent core includes a layer of a three-dimensionally patterned, wetlaid, cellulosic tissue nonwoven material, and wherein the layer includes longitudinal ridges and grooves. The absorbent core can include multiple layers of a three-dimensionally patterned, wetlaid, cellulosic tissue nonwoven material, wherein each layer of the multiple layers includes longitudinal ridges and grooves, and wherein the multiple layers are joined by lines of embossing, such lines of embossing extending in the longitudinal direction. Each layer of the multiple layers can include embossed longitudinal ridges and grooves.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING CHANNEL-FORMING AREAS AND WETNESS INDICATOR
An absorbent article comprising an absorbent core having a longitudinally extending channel-forming area and a wetness indicator. The core wrap comprises a top side and a bottom side, which are attached to each other through areas substantially free of absorbent material, so that when the absorbent material swells upon absorption of a liquid a channel is formed along the area substantially free of absorbent material.
Disposable diapers with main channels and secondary channels
Disposable absorbent diapers are provided with improved comfort, fit and liquid transportation. The absorbent core of the disposable absorbent diapers includes at least one absorbent structure having a substrate layer and an absorbent layer with channels.
