ABSORBENT CORE AND ABSORBENT ARTICLES COMPRISING SAID CORE
An absorbent core comprising: a front portion; a back portion; a middle portion positioned between the front portion and the back portion; and a longitudinal axis extending along a length of said core and crossing said front, middle and back portions, the absorbent core having a width extending perpendicular to said length and a perimeter comprising at least two opposing ends and at least two opposing sides positioned between said ends, said core being a multi-layer core comprising at least two distinct core layers, wherein a first core layer comprises a channel having a first shape and a second core layer comprises a further channel having a second shape and wherein the first and second core layers are disposed one on top of the other such that a third channel shape is formed along said core length and width, and wherein said first and second shapes are substantially the same and are different to said third shape.
ABSORBENT PANT HAVING AN ABSORBENT CORE WITH CONTINUOUS CHANNEL
The invention relates to a disposable absorbent pant comprising a central chassis and elasticized front and rear belt. The central chassis comprises an absorbent core with an absorbent layer. The absorbent layer comprises a continuous channel formed therein.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article comprises an absorbent core sandwiched between a topsheet and a backsheet. The article defines a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion. The absorbent core comprises an absorbent component enclosed by a core cover comprising an upper and a lower side, and the core is formed with a sealing arrangement for joining the upper and lower sides comprising two channel sealings extending along an longitudinal axis in the crotch portion and defining a first channel sealing width and a second channel sealing width, respectively. The front portion of the core is formed with a recess defining a depth extending from a front edge of the core and into the front portion. A distance is defined between said front edge of the core and a front edge of each channel sealing, such that the ratio of the depth and the distance is within the interval 0.05-0.8.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article including a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core sandwiched between the topsheet and the backsheet, the article being arranged along a longitudinal axis and a transversal axis extending in a perpendicular direction in relation to the longitudinal axis and the main article defining a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion, wherein the absorbent core is formed with a sealing arrangement including two channel sealings extending along the longitudinal axis in the crotch portion and defining a first effective channel sealing width and a second effective channel sealing width, respectively. The sealing arrangement includes two side seams extending along two side edges of the core, the side seams defining a third and fourth effective width, respectively, along the crotch portion and defining a fifth and sixth effective width, respectively, along the front portion and back portion.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
This disclosure makes it possible to form embossments with good appearance even when a polymer sheet is used as an absorber and makes it possible to reliably implement the function of the embossments. A sanitary napkin (1) includes a polymer sheet (4) including a superabsorbent polymer (12) disposed between an upper-layer sheet (10) disposed on a skin side and a lower-layer sheet (11) disposed on a non-skin side, and an embossment (20) that is formed on a skin-side surface of the polymer sheet (4) along a longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin (1) and is shaped like a discontinuous line formed by arranging compressed parts (21) and non-compressed parts (22) alternately. The ratio A:B of a length (A) of each of the compressed parts (21) to a length (B) of each of the non-compressed parts (22) is between 7:1 and 1:1.
Absorbent pant with advantageously channeled absorbent core structure and bulge-reducing features
A disposable absorbent pant having a belt structure that encircles the wearer's waist, with front and rear belt portions, and a longitudinally channeled absorbent core structure, is disclosed. The channels are extended so as to underlie at least one of the front and rear belt portions, thereby providing added structural support to restrain the absorbent core and reduce the likelihood of undesirable bulging in the front and/or rear of the pant while it is worn, after the core has absorbed liquid and stiffened longitudinally as a result of the channeled structure.
