Absorbent articles with channels

The present disclosure is directed, in part, to an absorbent article comprising a topsheet, a backsheet and absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core comprises an absorbent material positioned within a core wrap. The absorbent core defines a first channel therein. A material is positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the core wrap. The material defines a second channel therein.

An absorbent article having a pair of longitudinal edges, front and rear transverse edges, a front end region, a rear end region, and a central region disposed between the front and rear end regions. The absorbent article has a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, a pair of outwardly convex longitudinal central channels formed at least in the central region. The traversal distance of the pair of outwardly convex longitudinal central channels decreases towards both ends of the channels to define a central closed area. The absorbent article has a rear channel defining a rear closed area in the rear end region.

Absorbent core, articles comprising said core, and methods of making

An absorbent core comprising substantially continuous zones of one or more high fluid distribution structures and discontinuous zones of fluid absorption structures surrounding the one or more high fluid distribution structures, wherein the one or more high fluid distribution structures are arranged to distribute fluid across the absorbent core at a speed that is faster than the speed of fluid distribution across the absorbent core by said discontinuous fluid absorption structures, and wherein said continuous zones extend along a path that is substantially parallel to at least a portion of the perimeter of the core, said portion of the perimeter of the core comprising at least a portion of the sides of the core and one of the ends of the core.

An absorbent sheet is capable of increasing the absorption capacity in a desired region of an applied wearing article, for example, a crotch portion of a disposable diaper. An absorbent polymer is provided inside a first space region where the periphery is partitioned between a first sheet and a second sheet, and in the first space region, a resistance portion is formed by bonding the first sheet and the second sheet, and the resistance portion is to increase the resistance to gravity movement of the absorbing polymer in the first space region.

An absorbent article has a front surface side sheet and a back surface side sheet disposed on a back surface side of the front surface side sheet. A large number of cells are formed by bonding the front surface side sheet and the back surface side sheet. A particulate material containing super absorbent polymer particles is accommodated in the cell to form an absorber. At least a part of the particulate material containing the super absorbent polymer particles is not fixed to at least one of the front surface side sheet and the back surface side sheet. In at least one of the front surface side sheet and the back surface side sheet, sites other than the sites where the sheets are bonded each other are shrunk into a pleat shape.
