A system including a first storage pocket having an inner cavity with an absorbent pad positioned therein. The system further includes a second storage pocket having an inner cavity with a tampon positioned therein, wherein the second storage pocket is directly coupled to the first storage pocket.

A packaged feminine care absorbent article has an absorbent article with an absorbent structure and a shell. The absorbent structure is configured for disposition adjacent a female wearer's vaginal region. The shell is configured for supporting the absorbent structure at the vaginal region. The shell has a body-facing surface and a garment-facing surface. The body-facing surface has an adhesive thereon for adhering the shell directly to the wearer. The absorbent structure is attached directly to the garment-facing surface. The absorbent article is configurable between a packaged configuration and a use configuration. The absorbent structure is folded longitudinally about at least one transverse fold line and transversely about at least one longitudinal fold line in the packaged configuration. A portion of the shell overlies a portion of the absorbent structure in the packaged configuration.

A wrapper that opens relatively quietly and wraps a sheetlike hygiene product provided on one side with an adhesive, said wrapper being based on a packaging material in web form and composed of a polymeric film comprising a) at least one heat-sealable layer based on a mixture of at least one C.sub.2 or C.sub.3 olefin homopolymer or copolymer and not more than 30% by weight, based on the total weight of the layer a), of polybutylene and b) optionally a layer of polyethylene having a density of 0.88-0.94 g/cm.sup.3; the layer a), at least in those sections which face the regions of the hygiene product that are provided with the adhesive, has a release coating, and otherwise, at least in the sub-regions which are joined to form edge closures in the form of stripes or lines, has no release coating.

A package of one or more absorbent articles, wherein the one or more absorbent articles are sealed within the package is disclosed. The package includes a plurality of panels, including a consumer-facing panel; a plurality of seals included by at least a portion of the plurality of panels. Each of the plurality of seals has adhesive disposed in a seal area. One or more of the plurality of seals has an adhesive area which is greater than its corresponding seal area. The package material has natural fibers and a basis weight of between 50 gsm to 120 gsm, as determined via ISO 536 as modified herein. And, the package material is recyclable.

A packaging unit for hygiene articles is formed from a sheet having a folding axis dividing the sheet into first and second regions. One of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is provided with resealable adhesive, thus forming a first adhesive zone. The other of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion is adhesive-free. The inner edge portion or the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the second region corresponding to the adhesive-carrying edge portion of the first region is adhesive-free, such that when the sheet is folded about the folding axis, the edge portions carrying resealable adhesive in the first region are brought in contact with the adhesive-free edge portions in the second region. A distance between the at least one first folding axis and the first adhesive zone is 1-20 mm.

A packaging unit for hygiene articles is formed from a sheet of material having an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface includes an edge zone including an inner edge portion and an outer edge portion. The sheet has at least one folding axis dividing the sheet into a first region and a second region. The inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is provided with adhesive, and the other of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is adhesive-free. Further, one of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the second region is provided with adhesive, and the other is adhesive-free in a complementary manner to the edge zone of the first region.

A packaging unit (301) for hygiene articles that is formed from a sheet of material having an inner surface (302) comprises an edge zone (304) comprising an inner edge portion (305, 308) and an outer edge portion (306, 307). At least one of the outer and inner edge portions comprises at least one region provided with a resealable adhesive (12). The sheet has at least one folding axis (309, 309) dividing said sheet into a first and second regions region. The sheet is folded about said at least one folding axis with said first and second regions in an overlapping configuration, thereby providing a packaging unit. Overlapping outer edge portions of the sheet layers are at least partly adhesive-free and are at least partially connected to each other by a mechanical interaction providing a sealing strength of 0.2 to 1.5 N. A method for forming the packaging unit is provided.

An absorbent article includes an absorbent core, a liquid impervious backsheet, a liquid pervious topsheet, a functional layer, an adhesive layer and a releasable film. The functional layer includes a plurality of functional particles that are made from a material selected from sodium carbonate, argireline, mineral rock crystal, porphyritic andesite, borneol, mint essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, jasmine essential oil, far-infrared radiation particles and combinations thereof.

A packaging unit for hygiene articles, the unit being formed from a sheet of material having a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction. The sheet has an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface includes an edge portion being provided with a resealable adhesive for closure of the packaging unit. Furthermore, the sheet has at least one transversely extending folding axis dividing said sheet into a first region and a second region. The sheet is provided with at least one sync mark for indication of a positioning of the sheet of material during manufacturing of the packaging unit, the sync mark being provided on the outer surface. A blank and a method for forming the packaging unit are also provided.

A packaging unit for hygiene articles, the unit being formed from a sheet of material having an inner surface, said inner surface comprising an edge portion being provided with a resealable adhesive for closure of the packaging unit. The sheet has a longitudinal center line and at least one transversely extending folding axis dividing the sheet into a first region and a second region. A tab is arranged at an edge portion of the first region. The tab extends in a longitudinal direction from said edge portion so that an extension of the tab along or parallel to the center line from a tab base to an outer edge of the tab is 0.5 cm or more. A method of forming the packaging unit is also provided.
