The present invention discloses a novel sanitary napkin (pad) with an attached wipe package designed to improve feminine hygiene during menstruation. The integrated design allows females to conveniently clean themselves during pad changes, addressing a significant hygiene disconnect often experienced in such situations. The inventor seeks to claim the unique concept and implementation of this invention.

A vaginal discharge collection device includes a main body including an absorbent material and which is tapered from a front end to a rear end, a first vertical cross section of the front end being larger than a second vertical cross section of the rear end. The device further includes an external liquid barrier including a liquid-impermeable material, the external liquid barrier including a bottom liquid barrier and first and second lateral liquid barriers, the bottom liquid barrier extending to the rear end across the bottom surface of the main body, and the first and second lateral liquid barriers extending to the rear end across at least respective portions of the first and second lateral surfaces of the main body. The device further includes an internal liquid barrier extending through the main body.

A package of absorbent sanitary articles, includes: a pack formed by a plurality of absorbent sanitary articles having respective main faces parallel to each other and parallel to a longitudinal direction; a packaging sheet wrapped around the longitudinal faces of the pack and folded to form trapezoid closure flaps extending over the transverse faces of the pack; and a closure sheet wrapped around the pack, wherein the closure sheet has two opposite longitudinal sections extending over two opposite longitudinal faces of the pack and two opposite transverse sections extending over the respective transverse faces above the respective closure flaps.

A method for folding absorbent sanitary articles, wherein a plurality of absorbent sanitary articles advancing at a first speed are alternately routed towards at least two folding lines, are slowed down to a second speed less than the first speed, are folded while advancing at the second speed and are overlapped with each other so as to form groups of articles, each of which comprises at least two folded absorbent sanitary articles overlapped with each other.

The present disclosure relates to a system comprising at least one primary package accommodating at least one article, and a secondary package accommodating the primary package, wherein the secondary package comprises a second package material having a water vapor transmission rate lower than about 100 g/m.sup.2/day, as measured according to Water Vapor Transmission Rate Test, and a resistance to compression higher than about 150N.

A package including a bag and at least two absorbent articles arranged in the bag, the bag being made of a first paper material, wherein the bag has a sealed bottom, a top seal, and a peripheral wall extending between the bottom and the top seal. The peripheral wall includes a front wall, an opposite rear wall, first and second side walls connecting the front and rear walls, a first top surface extending between the top seal and the front wall, and a second top surface extending between the top seal and the rear wall. The top seal has been formed by adhering inner surface top portions of the peripheral wall to one another. A package of personal care articles. Each of the personal care articles has a nonwoven substrate as a component. A package for one or more absorbent articles, a process for forming a package for absorbent articles, and a set comprising a trimmed package for absorbent articles and a trim piece are disclosed. The package includes a package material enclosing the one or more absorbent articles. The package material has natural fibers and forms a front panel, a back panel opposite the front panel, a first side panel, a second side panel opposite the first side panel, a top panel, and a bottom panel opposite the top panel. The panels define an interior compartment, in which the absorbent articles are disposed. The distance between a seal line and a top edge is equal to or larger than 65 mm.
