BELTED ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A belted disposable article including a chassis having first and second end portions and a central portion extending therebetween, the article having a body-oriented surface facing the user during use and a garment-oriented surface facing away from the user in use, the article further including a pair of belt portions attached to the chassis so that a first belt portion and a second belt portion extending on each side of the first end portion of the chassis for securing to each other around a waist of a wearer of the article to form a belt having an exterior surface. In addition, a belt-opening trigger zone is disposed adjacent a free end of at least one of the first and second belt portion. Further, the first and second belt portions are folded over the chassis to form a folded belt configuration prior to use of the article.
Closure tape with patterned adhesive
Various fastening tape closure assemblies are described. The closure tapes are useful in the manufacture of disposable articles, and particularly disposable diapers. The closure tapes generally include a fastening tape and a release tape that at least partially covers the fastening tape during storage and transport of the tape and/or the disposable article. The release tapes include a layer of adhesive for bonding to a region of a diaper. The adhesive layer is in a patterned configuration.
FULLY PADDED DISPOSABLE DIAPER
A disposable diaper having a fully absorbent padded interior including a continuous liquid absorbent portion with no gaps or breaks in the absorbent padding along the sides of the diaper.
PANT-LIKE ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A pant-type absorbent article has a longitudinal direction, a transverse direction, an inner surface facing the user during use, an outer surface facing away from the user during use. The article includes: a first body portion, a second body portion and an intermediate crotch portion provided with two leg openings. Outer longitudinal edge portions of the first body portion are adapted to be interconnected to outer longitudinal edge portions of the second body portion by first and second longitudinal refastenable side seam configurations. Each one of the refastenable side seam configurations includes a fastening component bonded to an outer longitudinal edge portion of the first body portion and a mating fastening component bonded to a corresponding outer longitudinal edge portion of the second body portion. Moreover, each one of the fastening components and the mating fastening components includes a first mechanical connector structure and a second mechanical connector structure.
Elastic Laminate
A laminate extending widthwise, in the direction CD, and lengthwise, in the direction MD, including at least one nonwoven layer extending over a total nonwoven width, in the direction CD, and at least one elastic film made of elastomer material fixed by an upper face or lower face, respectively, to a lower face or upper face, respectively, of the at least one nonwoven layer, the at least one elastic film extending over a total elastic width, characterised in that the ratio equal to the total elastic width to the total nonwoven width is between 0.3 and 0.9; and the SET at 100% elongation of the laminate and/or of the at least one elastic film, measured in the width direction, is greater than 6%, in particular between 6% and 30%.
Absorbent pants
The pants has two zippers symmetrically arranged from a waistband's front center extend slantwise downward to a lateral side of the pants. A detachable wrapping member is integrated with the pants. The wrapping member has a belt whose two ends thread through corresponding loops at bottom corners of the wrapping member, and a bottom portion of the wrapping member is flipped upward to reliably cover a crotch area of a user, preventing excrement or urine from overflowing. A clamping member uses Velcro fastening elements or snap buttons to lock a planar object of an absorbent member, and the clamping member can provide secured positioning, increased friction, and load distribution so that the absorbent member can be reliably worn. The clamping member contains a clamping element that is concealed when not in use. The clamping element then can be flipped to further secure its locking the absorbent member.
Absorbent articles having texture zones forming background patterns and macro patterns
An absorbent article comprises first and second substrates and one or more elastic elements disposed at least partially intermediate the substrates. The second substrate is attached to the first substrate and/or to portions of the elastic elements. The absorbent article comprises an adhesive having a first and second pattern of elements disposed on first substrate, and first and second texture zones. The first texture zone comprises a first portion of the substrates, a first portion of the elastic elements, and the first pattern of elements of the adhesive and forms a background pattern in the first portion of the substrates. The second texture zone comprises a second portion of the substrates, a second portion of the one or more elastic elements, and the second pattern of elements of the adhesive and forms a macro pattern in the second portion of the substrates.
Elastic Laminate
Elastic laminate, extending widthwise in a first direction, specifically CD, and lengthwise in a second direction, specifically MD, including at least one nonwoven layer and at least one elastic film fixed by an upper face or lower face, respectively, to a lower face or upper face, respectively, of the at least one nonwoven layer; characterized in that, when the laminate is not in the stretched state, the nonwoven layer includes, in transverse cross-section according to the first direction, specifically in the transverse cross-section CD, curved sections in an inverted U, specifically in a , separated from each other by intermediate sections.
ABSORBENT, DISPOSABLE, RE-FASTENABLE UNDERGARMENT
The present invention protects a refastenable disposable absorbent pant, comprised by a chassis, left and right front side panels, and left and right rear side panels, in such a way that the left and right front side panels are joined to the left and right rear side panels, respectively, by means of a refastenable seal, such that the pant has an arrangement suitable to be pulled up and down through the legs, with a waist opening and a pair of leg openings, such that the left and right front panels are wider than the left and right rear panels, and the refastenable seal is placed at the rear part of the pant, between the side flanks thereof and the longitudinal edges of the chassis.
