LINE-UP OF ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING A FASTENING INDICIA SYSTEM
A line-up of at least three hygiene absorbent articles of different sizes, each article comprising a pair of fasteners that can be fastened to a fastening area on the front region of the article so that the front region and the waist region form a waist opening. The fastening area in the front region comprises an innermost pair of fastening indicia (A-A), an outermost pair of fastening indicia (C-C) and preferably at least one intermediate pair of fastening indicia (B-B). The distance (spacing) between the innermost pair of fastening indicia increases with the size of the articles.
Loop fastening material
A touch fastener loop material has a non-woven web of fibers forming both a base and a field of high-tenacity hook-engageable loops extending outward from one broad side of the base. The fibers are distributed such that the field of loops has a particular fiber volume distribution as a function of elevation above the base.
Loop Fastener Material For Diaper and Related Method
A composite loop face fabric which incorporates a multi-bar stitch-bonded construction and related fastening system. A yarn system forms an arrangement of surface loops extending in stitched relation through a composite nonwoven stitching substrate incorporating at least one layer of a cellulose tissue disposed in surface covering relation to at least one layer of a nonwoven support material of polymeric fiber. Multiple layers of cellulose tissue and nonwoven support material may be used if desired.
Absorbent pad and related methods
An absorbent pad. A first side of the absorbent pad is configured to abut a patient at a fluid discharging area or other location. Discharging fluid passes through a fluid-permeable liner of the absorbent pad into absorbent material. Liquid may be placed in the absorbent material prior to placing it on a patient and heated or cooled. An overwrap may be wrapped around the patient to hold the hot or cold compress in place while absorbing discharging fluid from the patient. A fluid barrier at a second side of the absorbent pad, parallel with the first side, prevents liquid from passing out of the absorbent pad at the second side. A coupler having hooks is disposed on the second side of the absorbent pad and is configured to engage with fibers of the overwrap in order to secure the absorbent pad in place with respect to the patient and overwrap.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH ELASTICALLY ELONGATABLE PANEL
Closure elements that include elastic and non-elastic regions are disclosed as well as absorbent articles that include closure elements.
FASTENER FOR AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article includes front and rear portions and a fastener for connecting side edges of the front and rear portions. The fastener includes a grasping element attached to an outer surface of the fastener to provide for grasping by the wearer or caregiver. The grasping element may be formed of flexible material and may have a variety of configurations, including a tube, a flange, a tunnel or a pocket.
Loop fastening material
A touch fastener loop material has a non-woven web of fibers forming both a base and a field of high-tenacity hook-engageable loops extending outward from one broad side of the base. The fibers are arranged with a particularly low density while maintaining hook-engageability and usefulness as a fastening material.
WEARABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A wearable absorbent article including a first fastener disposed on a first elastic side panel and a second fastener disposed on a second elastic side panel. Each of the first and second fasteners includes a fastening component having at least one first strip of fastening material and a tab portion having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion of the tab portion is disposed adjacent to the fastening component and has at least one second strip of fastening material. The second portion of the tab portion extends from the first portion and beyond a lateral end of the respective one of the first and second elastic side panels, and has at least one third strip of fastening material. The second portion has a length that is less than a length of the first portion.
SURFACE FASTENER LOOP MEMBER AND SANITARY ARTICLE
Problem: The present invention provides a surface fastener loop member, sanitary article, and diaper that have favorable flexibility, engaging strength, and printing properties, and that can be manufactured at low cost. Resolution: A loop member for a surface fastener, containing a loop layer and a base material layer; wherein the loop layer comprises a short fiber nonwoven material; the base material layer comprises a short fiber nonwoven material, and is calendared; the ratio of the average fiber fineness of the fibers in the loop layer and the average fiber fineness of the fibers in the base material layer as expressed by [average fiber fineness of fibers in the loop layer]/[average fiber fineness of fibers in the base material layer] is 1.5 to 30, and the thickness of the base material layer is 15 m to 100 m.
FASTENING TABS
A fastening tab for an absorbent article, the fastening tab comprising a proximal end and a distal end, said proximal end comprising a backing including a first major surface and a second major surface, wherein said first major surface is provided with a release surface, wherein the fastening tab further comprises a mechanical fastening patch, said patch comprising on one side male fastening elements and on the opposite side an adhesive, wherein the patch is releasably attached to the release surface via the adhesive, said distal end comprising a backing including a first major surface and a second major surface, wherein said first major surface has a structure or is provided with a structure that is adapted to be releasably engaged by said male fastening elements of the patch. Fastening tapes comprising a plurality of such fastening tabs, wherein the fastening tabs are arranged in an endless form on the tape so that individual fastening tabs can be provided from the fastening tape by cutting the tape across its width and rolls of such fastening tapes.
