The second texture zone comprises a second portion of the substrates, a second portion of the one or more elastic elements, and the second pattern of elements of the adhesive and forms a macro pattern in the second portion of the substrates.

An absorbent article may be constructed by printing on an unstretched web that forms a portion of the side panels. Seams may be formed by attaching the side panels to a chassis. The side panels and the chassis may have different elastic properties. The absorbent article may also comprise first and second waistbands.

First and second extendable side regions extend between and connect the main portion front waist region and the main portion rear waist region to form the article in a closed waist configuration, at least a portion of each side regions being extendable between a relaxed state and an extended state. An informational image is disposed in at least the first side region. The article may further include a texture feature formed in an outer surface of the article and positioned proximate to the informational image to form a composite image. Alternatively or additionally, the image includes a cognitively functional graphic.
