METHODS FOR IDENTIFICATION OF OLIGONUCLEOTIDES
The present invention discloses methods for identification of oligonucleotides by manipulation of the information content a plurality of oligonucleotides. A main object of the methods is the identification of new molecular activity such as new ligands of interest for the development of therapeutics or in the field of nanotechnology.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR DELIVERING MEDICAMENTS TO INTRAVENOUS FLUID
An infusion apparatus including a body having an infusion reservoir and one end of the body adapted to receive a pierceable end of a vial, a barrel rotatably disposed in an opposing end of the body and having an internal fluid chamber, and a plunger received in one end of the barrel, wherein the barrel rotates relative to the body between a first position allowing bi-directional fluid flow between the barrel and the vial, and a second position allowing bi-directional fluid flow between the barrel and the infusion reservoir, and wherein the plunger is movable relative to the barrel to control the bi-directional fluid flow between the barrel and the vial and the bi-directional fluid flow between the barrel and the infusion reservoir.
PERFORATING NEEDLE FOR FLASK WITH SEPTUM
A perforating needle intended to be inserted into a flask through a stopper or septum to inject and remove a fluid includes a pointed end for piercing the stopper and a cylindrical body. The central body includes a central channel through which the fluid may enter and leave the flask and a side wall having at least one lateral orifice. The orifice is in fluid communication with the central channel. A lower end of the orifice is, in use, essentially level with an inner face of the stopper. The orifice is extended toward the pointed end by at least one slot, a shape of which is essentially tangential to a flow of the fluid so as to channel the fluid along an axis of the needle. The side wall includes at least two diametrically opposite lateral orifices arranged on either side of a central island.
Tamper proof luer lock connector and a valve arrangement for an adaptor
Some embodiments are directed to a connector for connection with a fluid transfer device, including an outer body having a longitudinal axis; and a luer lock connection port positioned within the outer body and configured to be coupled with an external port of said fluid transfer device. The luer lock connection port can be rotatable about the longitudinal axis at least in one of a clockwise direction and a counter-clockwise direction at least prior to initiation of coupling thereof with the external port. The outer body can be structured, and the luer lock connection port is positioned therewithin, such that to prevent an operator to access, through the outer body, directly by fingertips an exterior of the luer lock connection port after the luer lock connection port has been coupled with the external port.

Methods and apparatuses for delivering medicaments to intravenous fluid
An infusion apparatus containing a medicament and volume of diluent for reconstituting the medicament and dispensing in an infusion therapy in a controlled and measured amount.
KIT PREPARATION AND DOSE ADJUSTMENT METHOD
A kit preparation that enables drug dose adjustment. The kit preparation includes a bag which contains an infusion solution or pure water and at least one drug enclosing part in which a drug is enclosed and which is provided with a sealing part. The drug enclosing part is connected to the bag via the sealing part; and, when the sealing part is released, the bag is communicated with the drug enclosing part and thus the drug is poured into the bag so that a dispensing work can be carried out.
Syringe apparatus for transferring liquids into and out of a vial having a septum
An apparatus for transferring a chosen quantity of medication from a vial to a container under sterile conditions is described. The present invention further facilitates dissolving solid medications contained in the vial or diluting concentrated medications contained in the vial, and transferring the resulting solutions to the container. The container may be an intravenous infuser.
Insert and vial for the infusion of liquids
The invention relates to an insert and a vial for the infusion of a liquid. The vial comprises a hollow body, a grasp portion and a head. The head comprises a delivery opening defining an axis X; a septum for closing the opening; and at least one circumferential push surface next to the head and firmly connected to the grasp portion. The insert is suitable to deliver the liquid and to receive the vial along axis X. The insert comprises a main body with lower ducts, an inner part and a piercing spike. The inner part defines a seat for the vial head, and comprises one slit for engaging the circumferential push surface. The spike is suitable to pierce the vial septum and defines upper ducts. The inner part is able to rotate inside the main body between a fluidly open configuration and a fluidly closed configuration.
TAMPER PROOF LUER LOCK CONNECTOR AND A VALVE ARRANGEMENT FOR AN ADAPTOR
An adaptor configured for connection to a syringe having an air chamber and a liquid chamber, the adaptor including a liquid channel configured to be in communication with the liquid chamber, an air channel configured to be in communication with the air chamber and at least one filter positioned in the liquid channel.
