PRIMARY PACKAGING
20200230024 · 2020-07-23 ·

A primary packaging (1) for a liquid comprising, in particular, an at least partially collapsible container (2) and a connector element (3) for connection of the primary packaging (1) to a withdrawal device. The connector element (3) has at least one connector channel (4) which is in fluid communication with an interior space (5) of the container (2). The container (2) is composed at least partially of a foil (6) which is constructed from a first layer which, during intended use of the primary packaging (1), comes into direct contact with the liquid. Both the first layer (7) and the connector element (3) are composed of a plastics material comprising at least one cyclic olefin polymer.

Liquid transfer devices for use with infusion liquid containers

Liquid transfer devices based on commonly owned WIPO International Publication No. WO 2007/052252 entitled Needleless Additive Control Valve. The liquid transfer devices include either an integral vial adapter and/or an integral infusion set for reducing cost and facilitating use by reducing user steps.

This document relates to methods and materials for improving the removal of gas from cryogenic freezing bags. For example, this document describes methods and devices for restricting air paths within the cryogenic freezing bag.

BAG FOR MEDICAL USE HAVING THREE COMPARTMENTS

A bag for medical use having three compartments, and having a compartment containing a solvent, a compartment containing a solute and a compartment containing a solvent, the compartment containing a solute being separated from the other two compartments by pincers, the opening of which allows liquid to flow by gravity, and, during opening of one of the pincers and under the effect of a pressure, the liquid contained in one compartment is propelled towards another compartment. A method for using a bag for medical use having three compartments is also provided.

COMBINED CENTRIFUGAL DEVICE
20190271682 · 2019-09-05 ·

The present invention discloses a combined centrifugal device, including: a tubule; and a negative pressure storage chamber configured to generate a negative pressure and store a suspension, wherein the negative pressure storage chamber is in communication with the tubule so that the negative pressure storage chamber generates a negative pressure to suck the suspension into the negative pressure storage chamber and the tubule through the tubule; wherein the tubule is provided with a fixing means through which the combined centrifugal device is fixed to the centrifugal machine. In such a way, the present invention fixes the combined centrifugal device to the centrifugal machine by means of the fixing means, so that the centrifugal machine can use the tubule to store the rare content of ingredients in the suspension during centrifugation to directly enlarge the thickness of the rare content of ingredients in the suspension in the tubule, therefore, the rare content of ingredients in the suspension is effectively thickened and stratified.

Method And Assembly For Fluid Transfer And Drug Containment In An Infusion System
20190038506 · 2019-02-07 ·

A fluid transfer assembly, drug container, and method for enabling fluid transfer in an infusion system is taught. The assembly includes a fluid container containing an infusion fluid, and a drug container. The fluid container has at least one inlet port for receiving a medical substance from the drug container. The assembly further includes at least one fluid barrier controlling fluid passage between the drug container and the fluid container. The inlet port exhibits a first luer-lock connector, and the drug a container is sealed by a cap exhibiting a second luer-lock connector for attachment to the first luer-lock connector. The fluid barrier is designed and arranged to be ruptured by an external force to allow the fluid passage.

Tamper proof luer lock connector and a valve arrangement for an adaptor

Some embodiments are directed to a connector for connection with a fluid transfer device, including an outer body having a longitudinal axis; and a luer lock connection port positioned within the outer body and configured to be coupled with an external port of said fluid transfer device. The luer lock connection port can be rotatable about the longitudinal axis at least in one of a clockwise direction and a counter-clockwise direction at least prior to initiation of coupling thereof with the external port. The outer body can be structured, and the luer lock connection port is positioned therewithin, such that to prevent an operator to access, through the outer body, directly by fingertips an exterior of the luer lock connection port after the luer lock connection port has been coupled with the external port.
