RECEPTACLE FOR HOLDING AN ACTIVE SUBSTANCE AND CORRESPONDING CAP AND CONTAINER
A receptacle is designed for a chamber for an active substance. The receptacle includes two main elements. A first element is a transverse wall with a first main side facing an interior of the chamber, and a peripheral wall formed with the first main side of the transverse wall. A second element includes a bottom wall and a sheath extending from the bottom wall. The peripheral wall and the sheath surround one another and are in contact with each other so that the chamber is formed between the bottom wall, the transverse wall, the peripheral wall and/or the sheath. At least one ventilation groove is provided between the peripheral wall and the sheath form a ventilation channel connecting the chamber with the outside atmosphere.
Medical Vial Holder Apparatus and Method
Embodiments of a medical vial holder apparatus and system are disclosed. A main body has a mount engagement portion and a vial engagement portion. A facing wall is attached to the vial engagement portion thereby defining a vial retention cavity therebetween. A lever element is mounted to the main body for pivotal movement between a grip position and a release position. The lever element has a grip portion with a vial engagement face. A grip distance is defined between the vial engagement face and the facing wall. Movement of the lever element from the release position toward the grip position reduces the grip distance. Movement of the lever element from the grip position toward the release position increases the grip distance. The lever element is biased toward the grip position. A plurality of the apparatuses are adjustably mountable in line with one another by way of their mount engagement portions.
PREASSEMBLED COMPONENT FOR A CONNECTABLE ELEMENT ASSEMBLY FOR THE RECONSTITUTION OF FLUID DRUGS AND NUTRIENTS WITH ACTIVE SUBSTANCE IN POWDER, LIQUID OR GEL FORM
A preassembled component (1) for connectable element assembly for the reconstitution of fluid drugs and nutrients with active substances in powder, liquid or gel form, consists of a female connector (2) with a hermetic closing valve (8) openable by pressure and automatically hermetically reclosable upon the removal of the pressure, which is directly fastened to a coupling and piercing device (3) for vials or the like.
Male-female adapter for a hermetically closable connector which can be bored by a male fitting and automatically sealingly reclosed, particularly for devices for containing and dispensing liquid solutions for pharmacological and/or nutritional use, and a male fitting connector provided with a male-female adapter
A male-female adapter (21) can be coupled to a hermetically closable connector (1) with external threading (13) and closing plug (6) which can be bored by pressure of a male fitting so as to form a connector (1)—adapter (21) unit which is suitable for using a female fitting. The adapter (21) comprises an external tubular body (22) with an axial extension (24) which can be hooked to the connector (1) in a rotatable and axially slidable manner, an internal tubular body (26) with terminal tangs (27, 37) axially projecting from the extremities of the external tubular body (22), a middle transversal wall (28) which integrally connects the two tubular bodies (22, 26), and two opposite sense threadings (29, 30) formed in internal portions of the external tubular body (22), which threadings are separated by said middle transversal wall (28).
MEDICAL CONNECTORS CONFIGURED TO RECEIVE EMITTERS OF THERAPEUTIC AGENTS
In some embodiments, a medical fluid connector is configured to receive an emitter of therapeutic agents to be emitted into a fluid pathway within the connector, the medical fluid connector comprising a proximal female end, an intermediate region, a distal male end, and a fluid pathway extending from the proximal female end, through the intermediate region, to the distal male end. A retaining structure is positioned within the intermediate region. The retaining structure is configured to securely receive an emitter of one or more therapeutic agents in a position and orientation where the fluid pathway is configured to convey fluid moving longitudinally through the fluid pathway directly into a proximal region of the emitter, around one or more lateral surfaces of the emitter, and toward the distal male end.
Pressurized Gas Powered Liquid Transfer Device and System
A transfer device for transferring a medical fluid from a vial to a medical fluid injection device includes a vial holder where a vial spike positioned within the vial holder is configured to enter a vial containing a medical fluid when the vial is inserted into the vial holder. An expansion chamber having an interior cavity is in fluid communication with the vial spike. A pressurized gas cartridge is positioned with the interior cavity of the expansion chamber, while a puncture tip is configured to puncture the pressurized gas cartridge when actuated by a user. The vial spike is also configured to be in fluid communication with an injection device attached to the transfer device.
Preassembled medicine mixer
A preassembled medicine mixer comprises a rotary sleeve (4), a guide sleeve I (3), a guide sleeve II (6), a guide part, a dosing barrel (1), and a dosing double needle (2). The guide sleeve I (3) extends into the guide sleeve II (6) and is connected to the rotary sleeve (4). A guide groove (8) is provided on the side wall of the guide sleeve I (3), and two ends of the guide groove (8) are extended by a distance towards opposite directions. A guide spiral groove (7) is provided on an inner wall of the guide sleeve II (6). The guide part is disposed in the guide sleeve I (3) and has a guide block (9) at the outer side thereof. The guide block (9) penetrates through the guide groove (8) and extends into the guide spiral groove (7). In use, the rotary sleeve (4) is rotated to drive the guide part to rapidly move downwards and push a medicine container (17); an upper needle tip of the dosing double needle (2) pierces a sealing plug on the medicine container (17), and a lower needle tip pierces a diaphragm (23) in an interface (22), so that the medicine container (17) is instantly communicated with an infusion container (14), thereby implementing sterile closeness during the entire process of transportation, storage, butt joint, medicine mixing, and infusion.
