An apparatus to preserve liquid from a medicine vial may include a vial coupling member forming a vial coupling member cavity and a container forming a cavity. The apparatus may further include a first fluid pathway forming a first lumen that is in fluid communication with the vial coupling member cavity and the cavity and a second fluid pathway forming a second lumen that is in fluid communication with the vial coupling member cavity and the cavity. The vial coupling member cavity, the cavity, the first lumen, and the second lumen may form a sterile environment that is sealed from contaminants in an ambient environment. The apparatus may include a disengaging member configured to permit the container to disengage from the first fluid pathway and the second fluid pathway while permanently sealing at least one of the first lumen or the second lumen.
LIQUID TRANSFER SYSTEM
Disclosed is a transfer device for use in reconstituting dry drugs and for diluting liquid drugs in drug containers. The transfer device includes a multi-port manifold and a connector suitable to be attached to a drug container, a first conduit to transfer a liquid entering an inlet port of the manifold through the connector and into the drug container, and a second conduit to transfer a gaseous fluid through the connector to an outlet port of the manifold. Also disclosed is a closed liquid transfer system which includes the transfer device, a tube connectable to the inlet port for transporting a liquid to the transfer device, a tube connectable to the outlet port for transporting the gaseous fluid away from the transfer device, and a gas collection container to collect the gaseous fluid in the gas transporting tube.
Adapter for a transfer device for a fluid, and transfer device
The invention relates to an adapter (1) for a transfer device (20) for a fluid, for the connection of a container (17) containing the fluid, wherein the container (17) is closed by a pierceable closure element (18), and the adapter (1) has an attachment (4) which can be fitted sealingly, in an attachment direction, onto a container mouth closed by the closure element. A penetration element (6) is mounted on the attachment (4) in such a way that the penetration element (6) is movable, with the aid of guide means, between a rest position (R) and a withdrawal position (E), wherein the penetration element (6) has a hollow needle (9) with which the closure element (18) can be pierced in the withdrawal position (E). The adapter (1) has a connector stub (3) with a coupling for the fluid-tight connection of a further adapter (1′), and a transfer channel (10) runs from a mouth on the connector stub (3) to a mouth on the hollow needle (9), such that the mouth of the transfer channel (10) on the connector stub (3) communicates with an interior of the connected container (17) in the withdrawal position (E) of the penetration element (6). The invention is characterized in that the connector stub (3) is arranged transversely, in particular substantially perpendicularly, with respect to the attachment direction (H), preferably on the penetration element (6).

VIAL ADAPTER
An exemplary vial adapter may include a moveable member, an elongated member with a first passage, a second passage coupled to an expandable first reservoir, and a third passage coupled to an expandable second reservoir. In a first orientation of an exemplary vial adapter, a fluid may be directed through the first passage into the first reservoir or the second reservoir. In a second orientation of an exemplary vial adapter, a fluid may be drawn through the first passage and a fluid drawn through an air passage into the second passage. In a second orientation of an exemplary vial adapter, a fluid may be directed through the first passage and through the third passage into the second reservoir. In a first orientation of an exemplary vial adapter, a moveable member may be activated to direct a fluid from the second reservoir through the third passage.
Vial adaptor and fluid transfer system
A vial adaptor comprises first and second housings coupled to each other, a sheath enclosing the first and second housings, and a spike disposed in the first and second housings. The first and second housings form a first chamber therein. The sheath and the first and second housings form therebetween a second chamber in air communication with the first chamber. The second housing is slidable relative to the first housing to cause the spike piercing through a front stopper to establish air and fluid communication with a vial attached to the vial adaptor, meanwhile to vary the volume of the first chamber and press the air into the second chamber. Upon a fluid being drawn from the vial, the air in the first and second chambers enters the vial to compensate the pressure reduction caused by the fluid drawn out to prevent fluid spillage or aerosolizing from the vial.
FILTER-INTEGRATED MEDICINE TRANSFER DEVICE AND MEDICINAL LIQUID INJECTION APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A channel for a medicinal liquid is formed in a filter-integrated medicine transfer device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The filter-integrated medicine transfer device includes: a housing having an air passage that diverges from a medicinal liquid channel and is connected to outside; at least one hydrophobic air-passing filter disposed in the housing and disposed at a boundary between the air passage and the medicinal liquid channel; and at least one medicine transfer pipe disposed in the housing and having a capillary channel constituting a portion of the medicinal liquid channel.
Device for collecting a sample of a liquid contained in a container, associated container, and use of this container
