Low shear stress conditioner composition with spherical gel network vesicles
A hair conditioner composition with a gel network that can contain a fatty alcohol and a cationic surfactant having a chloride counterion. The gel network composition can contain a uniform lamellar structure that comprises all vesicles or mostly vesicles.
TOPICALLY TREATED TISSUE PRODUCT
Disclosed is a low-cost, in-line process for treating a fibrous web with a lotion. The process generally involves passing a web through a nip formed by a pair of opposed surfaces, where one of the surfaces has been treated with a lotion having a penetration hardness greater than 5.0 mm. As the web passes through the nip, the lotion is transferred from one of the opposed surfaces to the surface of the web. In certain instances, the web may have a textured surface and only a portion of the web's textured surface is treated with a lotion.
Semi-permanent colorant composition for hair
A semi-permanent colorant composition is provided that is exhibits excellent color deposit without heat or oxidative treatment, and resists fading throughout several washes.
COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
A method of reducing the appearance of hyperpigmented skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to hyperpigmented skin a composition comprising an aqueous and/or glycerin extract of Rhododendron ferrugineum leaf to reduce melanocyte pigmentation in the skin.
Oral Care Compositions Containing A Gel Network Phase
An oral care composition containing a gel phase, an abrasive, and a fluoride source. The gel network phase contains a fatty amphiphile and phase separation is not visually perceptible in the oral care composition.
EMULSIFYING COMPOSITION FOR COSMETIC USE FOR PRODUCING AN O/W PICKERING EMULSION AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THIS EMULSION
The application relates to an emulsifying composition, in particular for cosmetic use, allowing an oil-in-water emulsion (O/W) to be obtained, the emulsion comprising at least one cyclodextrin and at least one O/W emulsifier of natural origin with a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance value (HLB) of more than 8. The O/W emulsifier of natural origin can be selected from alkyl polyglucosides, mixtures of at least one alkyl polyglucoside and at least one fatty alcohol, and non-ethoxylated polyol fatty esters. The application also relates to a composition of the Pickering emulsion type, in particular for cosmetic use, containing the emulsifying composition according to the invention, and to the process for preparing such a composition of the O/W Pickering emulsion type, in particular at low temperatures.
COSMETIC EMULSION BASES (CEB)
At least one embodiment, relates to a method for making cosmetic emulsions comprising the steps of preparing a uniform (suspension) dispersion of at least one water soluble polymer in a mixture containing at least one fatty alcohol. The mixture is to be sufficiently uniform to be processed by flaking, pastillating, prilling or otherwise solidifying the mixture which is then to be added to a cosmetic emulsion oil phase before combining with a water phase.
PEPTIDE COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A peptide composition comprises a collagen peptide, and at least three first compounds selected from the group consisting of isovaleric aldehyde, 1-octen-3-ol, phenylacetaldehyde and methional.
Polyurethane gel composition and use thereof
Provided is a polyurethane gel composition containing A and B below. Here, A represents a polyurethane obtained by reaction of (a) a hydrogenated polybutadiene having isocyanate groups at the terminals and (b) a glycol represented by HO—R.sub.3—OH (wherein R.sub.3 represents a linear or branched C2 to C6 alkylene group optionally having an ether bond), or A represents a polyurethane obtained by reaction of (c) a hydrogenated polybutadiene having hydroxyl groups at the terminals, (d) a diisocyanate compound, and the (b) glycol represented by HO—R.sub.3—OH (wherein R.sub.3 represents a linear or branched C2 to C6 alkylene group optionally having an ether bond), and B represents an oil agent. The polyurethane gel composition of the present invention is particularly useful as a raw material for cosmetics since a film of an oil-soluble gel obtained using the polyurethane gel composition is exceptionally excellent in any point of transparency, high gloss, elasticity, and resilience.
COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING HIGH AMOUNTS OF RETINOL
The present disclosure relates to stable cosmetic compositions containing high amounts of retinol. The cosmetic compositions further include, among other things, a plurality of nonionic emulsifiers, fatty alcohols, fatty compounds, thickening polymers, and water. Methods for solubilizing high amounts of retinol and methods of treating the skin with the cosmetic compositions is also described. Methods for stabilizing the cosmetic compositions containing high amounts of retinol and methods for preserving the high amounts of retinol are also described. The present disclosure also describes methods for treating the with the cosmetic compositions.
