The hair cosmetic composition further includes (A) a cellulose derivative and (B) a polyethylene glycol having a number average molecular weight of 2,000 or less. The mass ratio of the content of the (B) component to the content of the (A) component is 1 to 50.
OXIDATIVE HAIR DYE COMPOSITION
An oxidative hair dye composition includes an alkaline agent and an oxidant. The oxidative hair dye composition further includes (A) α-naphthol in a content of 0.005 to 0.45% by mass, (B) at least one oily component selected from a higher alcohol, an ester, and a wax that are in a liquid state at 25° C., and (C) a nonionic surfactant having a polyoxyethylene chain having a number of moles of added ethylene oxide of 20 or more.
Aqueous hair conditioner compositions containing solubilized anti-dandruff actives
A hair conditioner composition with a gel network, a soluble anti-dandruff active, and a preservation system. The preservation system can include an ingredient selected from the group consisting of glycol, glyceryl ester, glyceryl ethers and combinations thereof. There may be no visible crystals of the soluble anti-dandruff active in the condition composition.
Waxes having oil-in-water self-emulsifying and water gel-forming properties, compositions, uses and methods relating to same
The present invention relates to waxes useful for cosmetic applications having stable oil-in-water emulsion-forming properties and, in some embodiments, stable gel-in-water-forming properties. In some embodiments, the waxes exhibit self-emulsifying properties, and can be produced without the addition of any other substances to achieve the emulsion (e.g., co-emulsifiers, hydrophilic polymers, polar surfactants, rheological modifiers, gelling agents). The waxes generally comprise: (a) polyglyceryl fatty acid ester, (b) a glycerol fatty acid ester, and 9c) a fatty alcohol. In particular embodiments, the polyglyceryl fatty acid ester can be a polyglyceryl-2, -3, or -4 fatty acid ester, and the fatty chain lengths of (a)-(c) can range from C12 to C22. In more particular embodiments, the waxes can comprise polyglyceryl stearate, glyceryl stearate, and stearyl alcohol. Gels, oil-in-water emulsions, and other compositions produced from the waxes, as well as uses and methods relating thereto, are also disclosed.
Non-Greasy Personal Care Compositions
An anhydrous personal care composition, comprising: (a) 45 to 60 weight % of at least one ester, selected from (i) triglycerides, (ii) diglycerides, (iii) monoglycerides, (iv) monoesters of diols, and (v) diesters of diols; (b) a first wax having a melting point of from 35° C. to 72° C. present in an amount of 5 to 25 weight %; (c) a second wax having a melting point of 73 to 90° C. present in an amount of 0.5 to 15 weight %; and (d) at least one plant oil having a saponification value of from 150 to 275 mg KOH/g present in an amount of 5 to 35 weight.
TOPICAL COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
A method of treating a person's skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the skin a composition comprising jojoba oil and an oil extract of Opuntia ficus-indica tuna or Opuntia ficus-indica nopales, or a combination thereof, to treat the person's skin.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR KERATIN FIBERS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a composition for keratin fibers comprising: (a) at least one non-neutralized anionic surfactant; (b) at least one non-ionic surfactant; (c) at least one fatty alcohol; and (d) at least one alkaline agent, wherein the composition does not comprise more than 2% by weight of a phosphoric surfactant. The present invention can provide the composition for keratin fibers which can suppress its ammonium odor and have improved stability.
Conditioning compositions containing cationic compounds, a silane compound and silica particles and methods for use
Disclosed are compositions for treating and conditioning keratinous substrates, comprising a silane compound; hydrophobic silica aerogel particles; a first organic acid; a cationic surfactant chosen from fatty dialkylamines; a second organic acid; a fatty alcohol; water; and optionally, a silicone compound other than the silane compound. Also disclosed are methods for treating and conditioning keratinous substrates using the composition.
