ADDITIVES FOR COLORING AGENTS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Disclosed are methods for coloring hair, comprising applying a mixture comprising one or more hair dyes and an additive as a pre-treatment, as a simultaneous treatment, as a post-treatment, or a combination thereof.
Hair strengthening ingredient and method for strengthening hair
A method for strengthening and repairing keratin fibres including providing a first—and a second crosslinking composition, wherein the first—crosslinking composition comprises an at least bi-functional Brønsted-base and the second—crosslinking composition comprises—an at least bi-functional organic acid, and a cosmetically acceptable carrier; applying the first—as well as the second—crosslinking composition to keratin fibres; and optionally mixing the first—crosslinking composition into a commercially available hair coloring or hair bleaching composition.
Skin Whitening Composition Containing Dihydro-5-Methylfuran-2(3h)-One Derivative
The present invention relates to a composition for skin whitening comprising a dihydro-5-methylfuran-2(3H)-one derivative, an isomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof having melanogenesis inhibitory activity and melanosome degradation activity. Specifically, the composition of the present invention inhibits melanogenesis and promotes melanosome degradation by means of the action of a dihydro-5-methylfuran-2(3H)-one derivative in a signaling pathway of melanin biosynthesis induced by α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH).
Synergistic anti-inflammatory compositions
The present invention is directed to a personal composition comprising a) a strobilurin; b) salicylic acid wherein the ratio of a:b is from about 1:1 to about 100:1; wherein there is a synergistic anti-inflammatory/cellular stress activity.
COMPOSITION FOR BRIGHTENING AND/OR WHITENING KERATIN MATERIALS
It relates to a composition for brightening and/or whitening keratin materials comprising: i) at least one flavonoid; ii) at least one hydroxylated diphenylmethane derivative of formula (I) below: (I) wherein: R.sub.1 is selected from a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon chain containing from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, an —OH group and a halogen, R.sub.2 is selected from a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, and a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon chain containing from 2 to 5 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 is selected from a methyl group or a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon chain containing from 2 to 5 carbon atoms, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are, independently of one another, selected from a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon chain containing from 2 to 5 carbon atoms, an —OH group or a halogen; and iii) at least one skin peeling agent. It also relates to a cosmetic process for brightening and/or whitening keratin materials, in particular the human skin.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR STYLING HAIR
The disclosure relates to compositions comprising (a) at least one polyphenol; (b) at least one film former; (c) at least one emulsifier; (d) at least one fatty compound; and (e) at least one solvent. Optionally, the compositions may further comprise at least one oil, at least one humectant, and/or at least one fatty acid. The compositions can be used for styling hair, for example temporarily straightening the hair and/or for reducing frizz of hair. The disclosure also relates to methods of using the compositions to style hair, straighten hair, and/or reduce frizz of hair.
Complexation of Oxybenzone with C-methylresorcin[4]arene
The present invention involves the formation of host-guest complexes between C-methylresorcin[4]arene and Oxybenzone (OXB). NMR spectroscopy confirmed the formation of a weak host-guest complex and molecular dynamics docking simulations indicated that this complex likely had a 1:1 stoichiometry. Furthermore, skin permeation testing revealed that complexation by C-methylresorcin[4]arene significantly reduced the amount of OXB that permeated skin. These results show the potential of supramolecular complexation for improving the stability and decreasing the skin permeability of OXB, thus limiting harmful side effects.
RESVERATROL SKIN PREPARATION
The present invention discloses a method for using sonication to achieve a homogenized blended oil and trans-resveratrol base and functions as a multi-use men's skin. hair, and anti-aging product for irritated skin. The Trans-resveratrol used in the present disclosure is sourced from Japanese Knotweed, Polygonum cuspidatum roots. Trans-resveratrol is a super antioxidant with a high concentration of polyphenols. Trans-resveratrol is derived from the Japanese Knotweed plant and is significantly more potent than the more commonly known, cis-resveratrol. The healing properties of Trans-resveratrol include decreased inflammation, improved cardiovascular health, and anti-aging effects, reduced impact of hangovers and intoxication, increased antioxidants in a person's blood stream, improved the appearance of complexion, reduced impact on skin from exhaustion or lack of sleep, healed body and muscles after exercise, and reduced impact of stress on body.
