Hygiene product pod and methods of using same
A hygiene product, a hygiene product pod, and a method of using the hygiene product pod, the hygiene product pod including a water soluble envelope and the hygiene product sealed in the envelope. The hygiene product includes a carrier comprising butylene glycol in an amount ranging from about 40 wt % to about 70 wt %, based on the total weigh of hygiene product, and an active agent including at least one surfactant.
Application container with weakened portion
An application container includes a main body that holds an application material, a cap, and a weakened portion that connects the cap to an outer peripheral surface of the main body. The main body has a tubular shape that extends in an axial direction and forms an opening to expose the application material. The cap overlaps the opening of the main body in the axial direction. The weakened portion is oriented substantially in a circumferential direction of the main body, at a position that is located away from the opening in the axial direction of the main body, and is configured to be split in response to an external force, so as to separate the cap from the main body.
Automated Delivery System of a Cosmetic Sample
The present teachings contemplate a dispensing apparatus for cosmetic samples, the apparatus comprising a retail point of sale dispenser; a carrier including a plurality of mounts and a plurality of containers removably attached to the carrier via the plurality of mounts; with vertical and horizontal translational components; one or more information retrieval devices; a user interface including a data interface adapted to store information on the one or more information retrieval devices; a transparent panel covering at least a portion of the dispensing apparatus and wherein the one or more information retrieval device are adapted to be maintained in the possession of a user; and wherein the apparatus dispenses cosmetic samples based on user input.
CHEMICAL COMPOSITION FOR A DISPOSABLE SINGLE USE APPLICATOR ASSEMBLY
The applicator assembly delivers a cosmetic, health, or hygiene chemical composition in an active state to the user for a disposable single use. The applicator assembly includes a wrapper, and an insert. The insert holds the chemical composition, and the insert is made of a foam composition compatible with the chemical composition. The system and method for manufacturing the assembly is a web conversion process for the chemical composition and foam composition of the assembly. The chemical composition can be a cosmetic or other hygiene or medical treatment. The chemical composition includes amorphous silica, a white adhesive agent, a coloring agent, and an aromatic preservative agent.
Pair of capsules assembled together and respectively comprising two different phases to be mixed
Disclosed is a pair of capsules assembled together and respectively including two different phases to be mixed in order to obtain a personalized cosmetic product, including: two pouches respectively containing the two different phases and respectively included in the two capsules and interconnected by a communication channel including at least one portion of narrow cross-section relative to the two pouches, this portion of narrow cross-section of the communication channel including two right-angle bends.

Packaging for cosmetic product sample having an applicator, and cosmetic product sample having an applicator
A sample cosmetic product (1) having an applicator including a shell (7), incorporating a first portion (13) with a first cavity (10) and a second portion (15) with a second cavity (13) connected together so as to enable the reception of an applicator. A cover (8) is positioned on the shell to cover the first cavity and the second cavity, the cover welded around the first cavity on the first portion of the shell forming a first weld (26), and around the second cavity of the second portion of the shell forming a second weld (27). The first weld is configured to be dewelded by peeling away the cover to enable the opening of the first cavity. The packaging has a reinforcing mechanism separating the first portion and the second portion, the reinforcing mechanism is configured to prevent the dewelding of the second weld.
Sample holder
The sample holder is configured to releasably and securely hold fragrance sample bottles therein. The sample holder generally comprises a body and a cap. The cap preferably mates with the body via a friction fit or threaded connection. The body comprises an interior cavity having one or more retaining structures for releasably retaining the bottles within the cavity. A length of the cavity is also adjustable to accommodate sample bottles of different lengths. An exterior of the body may comprise a pattern, material, or fabric to enhance the aesthetics of the sample holder.
RECYCLABLE SACHETS
Sachets composed of metal barrier layers that can include both a sealant and an external protective coating material. The sealant provides heat sealing, and product formulation protection properties, while the barrier material functions to reduce the moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) into or out of the sachet.
Chemosensory disorder trigger and management system
A system for chemosensory disorder testing includes a scanner for scanning a unique identifier associated with a test subject. A scent dispensing unit dispenses a predetermined scent for the test subject responsive to receipt of a dispensing control signal. A user interface receives a test response input from the test subject based on a perception of the test subject of the predetermined scent dispensed by the scent dispensing unit. A central controller generates the dispensing control signal responsive to the unique identifier scanned by the scanner. The central controller further determines at least one of a pass test result or a fail test result responsive to a comparison of the test response input to a predetermined response associated with the predetermined scent. A relational database stores the pass test result or the fail test result at a location associated with the unique identifier associated with the test subject.
