Provided herein are topical formulations including a cannabinoid and one or more active sunscreen ingredients. Also provided are methods of using the topical formulations.

A method for reducing a presence of sebum on skin, reducing an appearance of shiny skin, or reducing an appearance of the size of skin pores, the method comprising topically applying to skin a composition comprising an extract of Bambusa vulgaris wendl shoots, Lonicera japonica leaf extract, and charcoal, wherein topical application of the composition to the skin reduces the presence of sebum on the skin, reduces the appearance of shiny skin, or reduces the appearance of the size of the skin pores.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising i) at least one 4-(3-ethoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)butan-2-one compound; ii) at least one preserving agent other than i) and/or antioxidant; iii) at least one surfactant chosen from the surfactants; iv) at least one polymer, notably a thickening polymer, which is preferably organic, and v) optionally a fatty substance. The invention also relates to the use of i) to vi) as antimicrobial agent, to a process for treating keratin materials using the composition comprising i) to vi) and to a kit comprising ingredients i) to vi).

The combination of i) ii), iii), iv) and optionally v) makes it possible to obtain an antimicrobial mixture which has excellent antimicrobial activity, in particular with respect to Aspergillus niger, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. In addition, the formulations remain stable over time while at the same time retaining antimicrobial activity over time even after 7 days, 15 days, 1 month, and at room temperature.

The present disclosure is directed to a composition for managing exaggerated sebum production in oily-prone skin, the composition containing: (1) a mixture of at least: (a) from about 0.02 to about 1% by weight of an ingredient capable of activating cannabinoid type-2 receptors (“CB.sub.2”); (b) from about 0.1 to about 3% by weight of a blend of Tetraselmis chuii and Fucus spiralis algae extracts; (c) from about 0.1 to about 4% by weight of an extract of Centella asiatica; and (d) from about 0.01 to about 0.05% by weight of an extract of Tulsi, wherein all weights are based on total weight of the composition; (2) optionally, an emulsifier; and (3) a dermatologically acceptable carrier, wherein the composition has a pH ranging from about 4.5 to about 5.5.

The present disclosure is directed to a composition for managing exaggerated sebum production in oily-prone skin, the composition containing: (1) a mixture of at least: (a) from about 0.02 to about 1% by weight of an ingredient capable of activating cannabinoid type-2 receptors (“CB.sub.2”); (b) from about 0.1 to about 3% by weight of a blend of Tetraselmis chuii and Fucus spiralis algae extracts; (c) from about 0.1 to about 4% by weight of an extract of Centella asiatica; and (d) from about 0.01 to about 0.05% by weight of an extract of Tulsi, wherein all weights are based on total weight of the composition; (2) optionally, an emulsifier; and (3) a dermatologically acceptable carrier, wherein the composition has a pH ranging from about 4.5 to about 5.5.

The described invention provides a cosmetic composition formulated for topical application containing a water-based gel component comprising hyaluronic acid; a botanical ingredient component comprising decarboxylated cannabidiol (CBD) representing about 20% of an isolate, and a cosmetic composition stabilizing system comprising arginine, p-anisic acid, and levulinic acid, wherein the composition is a slightly viscous non-occluded water based liquid; pH of the finished product ranges from about 4.0 to about 5.0; and the composition is not psychoactive. The described invention also provides methods for promoting and maintaining vaginovulval and perianal tissue vitality and tissue health in a subject in need thereof by administering the composition topically to the subject.
