Express hair coloring using heat
The present disclosure relates to methods for coloring hair. The methods include applying an aqueous coloring composition and heat to the hair. The coloring composition includes water and one or more colorants for coloring the hair. After application of the aqueous coloring composition to the hair, the hair having the coloring composition applied thereon is heated to a temperature of about 100 C. to about 200 C. for a period of time, for example, for about 5 seconds to about 5 minutes. The methods are quick, efficient, and effective.
DEODORANT AND ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITIONS
A deodorant stick having a substituted or unsubstituted 2-pyridinol-N-oxide material and at least one material selected from the group consisting of hexamidine, magnesium carbonate, zinc carbonate, thymol, magnesium hydroxide, dead sea salt, calcium carbonate, polyvinyl formate, salycilic acid, niacinamide, and combinations thereof.
DISSYMMETRIC AZOMETHINE DIRECT DYES AND PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION, COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE SUCH DYE AND USE THEREOF
The present invention relates to dissymmetric azomethine direct dyes of formula (I) and the leuco forms thereof of formula (II), and also to the use thereof for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair:
##STR00001##
in which formula (I) or (II) R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, n and n are as defined in the description.
The compounds of formula (I) or (II) according to the invention can give powerful, chromatic and sparingly selective colourings with good colour build-up, which are resistant to the various attacking factors to which keratin fibres may be subjected, such as inclement weather, light, washing and perspiration.
Hair-coloring compositions, aerosol products, and methods for coloring hair
The present disclosure relates to hair-coloring compositions comprising direct dyes, and aerosol hair-coloring products comprising the hair-coloring compositions. The hair-coloring compositions include: (a) at least one direct dye selected from nitro-phenylenediamines, nitro-aminophenols, azo dyes, anthraquinones, triarylmethane dyes, indophenols, and a mixture thereof; (b) at least one nonionic film forming polymer; (c) at least one thickening agent; (d) at least 40 wt. % of water, based on the total weight of the compositions; and (e) 40 wt. % or less of ethanol, based on the total weight of the composition. The hair-coloring compositions can be combined with a propellant and incorporated into a canister to provide a hair-coloring aerosol product. The compositions and aerosol products are useful for coloring hair.
2-pyridinol-N-oxide deodorant and antiperspirant compositions
A deodorant stick having a substituted or unsubstituted 2-pyridinol-N-oxide material and at least one material selected from the group consisting of hexamidine, magnesium carbonate, zinc carbonate, thymol, magnesium hydroxide, dead sea salt, calcium carbonate, polyvinyl formate, salycilic acid, niacinamide, and combinations thereof.

OXIDATIVE DYE COUPLERS WITH NOVEL AUXOCHROME SUBSTITUENTS AND AZOMETHINE DYES AND LEUCO FORMS THEREOF
The present invention concerns an auxochrome substituent for an oxidative dye coupler. The auxochrome substituent enables ready developer reaction with the coupler to form azomethine and leuco dyes. Manipulation of the auxochrome substituent enables a bathochromic or hypsochromic shift of the light absorbance by the azomethine dye formed with the auxochrome substituted coupler.
