The present disclosure relates to hair care and conditioning compositions comprising polyols; monoalcohols having from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; fatty alcohols selected from cetyl alcohol and myristyl alcohol; cationic surfactants; fatty carbonate esters; and dialkyl ethers. When the composition is applied to the wet or damp hair or put in contact with extraneous water, the composition forms an emulsion having a lamellar phase. The present disclosure also relates to methods of treating hair using these compositions.

Provided are a pigment dispersion liquid for cosmetics having excellent dispersibility for a pigment of Pigment Red 4 (C.I. 12085) and aging stability, and an aqueous liquid cosmetic using the same, which is suitable for hair dyes and the like. The pigment dispersion liquid for cosmetics contains, at least, water, a water-soluble organic solvent, a pigment of Pigment Red 4 (C.I. 12085), and a (methacryloyl ethylbetaine/acrylates) copolymer, and a ratio of the water to total solvents is 30 to 95% by mass.

The present invention relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, in one or more steps, comprising the application to said keratin fibres of a composition comprising one or more compounds of formula (I) and/or (II), and also to the use thereof for dyeing keratin fibres, and to a device: in which formula (I) or (II) R.sub.1, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, and n are as defined in the description. The compounds of formula (I) according to the invention can give powerful, chromatic and sparingly selective colourings with good colour build-up, which are resistant to the various attacking factors to which keratin fibres may be subjected, such as inclement weather, light, washing and perspiration.

The present invention relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, comprising an oxidation base, a 2-amino-5-ethylphenol coupler and at least 20% by weight of fatty substance relative to the total weight of the composition. The invention also relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres using this composition. Finally, the invention relates to the use of such a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, and in particular the hair.
Lip cosmetic
A lip cosmetic has a high transparency without giving unnatural whiteness and exerts a remarkable effect of ultraviolet ray protection over a broad wavelength range including the UVA and UVB regions. The lip cosmetic includes (A) at least 5% by mass of UV absorbers; wherein said (A) UV absorbers comprises (A1) at least one UV absorber selected from a group consisting of octocrylene, dimethicodiethylbenzalmalonate and diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, and (A2) ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate; (B) a high-viscosity oil component in a range of 30% by mass to 70% by mass thereof; (C) a low-viscosity oil component in a range of 20% by mass to 40% by mass thereof, and (D) titanium dioxide and zinc oxide of which a total content is at most 0.5% by mass thereof; and wherein a sun-protection-factor (SPF) of the lip cosmetic is at least 20, and a critical wavelength thereof is at a shortest 370 nm.
Method for forming a catalyzed dye system
The invention relates to a method for forming a catalyzed dye system. The method includes the successive steps of (1) forming a mixture comprising at least one dye precursor and a catalyst and (2) adding an alkalizer to the mixture, which forms a catalyzed dye system. The dye system may be exposed to hair for less time than standard oxidative dye systems, which is believed to result in reduced damage to hair.
