SALTS OF TRANEXAMIC ACID ESTERS
Various salts of tranexamic acid esters compounds are described, along with compositions including such compounds. Methods of use for treatment of external surfaces (e.g. skin) and processes of producing the compounds and compositions are also described.
Conditioning Composition
A conditioning composition is free of talc and includes tapioca starch, optionally potato starch, optionally corn starch, at least one anionic surfactant, and optionally at least one amphoteric surfactant, which may be described as a core particle. The conditioning composition may include, or be free of, a coating disposed about at least a portion of the core particle and having a compound chosen from cellulose polymers, anionic or cationic polymers, vinyl polymers, natural polymers, polysaccharides, copolymers thereof, and combinations thereof. The conditioning composition includes from about 0 to about 25 percent by weight of liquid, has a pH of from about 3.5 to about 5 when mixed with water at about 10 wt % and produces a flash foam of less than about 10 ml when contacted with water at a temperature of about 26 to about 30° C. degrees.
HAIR CARE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING HYDROXYLATED TRIGLYCERIDE OLIGOMERS
Disclosed are hair care compositions, such as shampoos, conditioners and leave on treatments, containing one or more hydroxylated triglyceride oligomers. Also disclosed are methods of using the hair care compositions.
RINSE-OFF COMPOSITIONS WITH A SURFACTANT SYSTEM THAT IS SUBSTANTIALLY FREE OF SULFATE-BASED SURFACTANTS
A rinse-off cleansing composition with improved viscosity. The rinse-off cleansing composition contains a surfactant system with an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, and a non-ionic surfactant. The surfactant system is substantially free of sulfate-based surfactants
Multi-agent type hair treatment agent
A multi-agent type hair treatment agent comprising a first composition containing component (A) and component (B); and a second composition containing component (C), wherein the weight ratio (H)/(C) of component (H) to component (C) in the second composition is less than 1. A hair treatment method comprising the steps of applying and rinsing the first composition to hair (i) and then applying the second composition to hair (ii). Component (A): a carboxylic acid having an inorganic value of 230 or more and 450 or less and an organic value of 50 or more and 250 or less, or a salt of the carboxylic acid Component (B): anionic surfactant Component (C): an aromatic sulfonic acid having a molecular weight of 300 or less or a salt thereof Component (H): cationic surfactant.
Oral Care Compositions
This application provides, among other things, oral care compositions where the addition of a stabilizing amount of a nonionic gelling and thickening agent, (e.g., hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC)), to formulations comprising a bisbiguanide (e.g., chlorhexidine (CHX)) agent allows for proper structure and consistency to the formulation and to allow it to be used as a gel or a toothpaste to facility delivery of chlorhexidine, among other actives, to the teeth or gums.
Process for treating keratin fibres with a particular composition and a heating tool
The present invention relates to a process for treating human keratin fibres such as the hair, which comprises: i) a step of applying to the human keratin fibres a composition comprising: —at least one plant wax: —at least 60% by weight of water relative to the total weight of the composition; ii) followed by a step of heating the keratin fibres by means of a heating appliance at a temperature ranging from 80° C. to 160° C., preferably from 110° C. to 50° C., more preferably from 120° C. to 150° C., which is moved along the fibres, iii) optionally followed by a step of rinsing the keratin fibres.
Hybrid quats in, in particular, hair treatment agents
The invention relates to compositions comprising A) at least one hybrid quat and B) at least one fatty alcohol.
Oral Care Compositions
This application provides, among other things, oral care compositions where the addition of a stabilizing amount of a nonionic gelling and thickening agent, (e.g., hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC)) and an effective amount of a zwitterionic surfactant (e.g., a betaine zwitterionic surfactant) (e.g., cocamidopropyl betaine), to formulations comprising a bisbiguanide (e.g., chlorhexidine (CHX)) agent, and optionally an effective amount of abrasive silica, allows for proper structure and consistency to the formulation and to allow it to be used as a gel or a toothpaste to facility delivery of chlorhexidine, among other actives, to the teeth or gums with acceptable stability and foaming.
Vesicles comprising epidermal growth factor and compositions thereof
The invention relates to vesicles comprising Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), a cationic surfactant and cholesterol or derivatives thereof. The invention also discloses a procedure for their preparation, based on compressed fluid technology (CFs). The vesicles of the invention are useful in the manufacture of drugs and cosmetics and in tissue engineering.
