The disclosure relates to oral care compositions comprising guanidine in free or orally acceptable salt form, a cationic quaternary ammonium compound (e.g., a pyridinium compound) (e.g., cetyl pyridinium chloride (CPC)), a fluoride source, and optionally a zinc source (e.g., zinc lactate or zinc citrate and zinc oxide) as well as to methods of using and of making these compositions.

Non-toxic, alcohol-free disinfectant and sanitizing composition
20220338476 · 2022-10-27 ·

A non-toxic, alcohol-free disinfectant and sanitizing composition comprising a non-ionic surfactant system, an alkylated vegetable oil, a sodium-containing base, benzalkonium chloride, citric acid and purified water for use on skin, hands and hard surfaces. The materials from which it is manufactured are all renewable, non-toxic, alcohol-free, nonflammable and the composition is readily biodegradable. The composition does not rely upon alcohol to produce its antimicrobial effects. The invention provides effective alternative to alcohol-based disinfectant and sanitizers and may be particularly useful in personal care and cleaning household products for schools, hospitals, restaurants, hotels and supermarkets. Furthermore, the invention also met the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards and protocols for disinfectants on hard surfaces.

TOOTH-WHITENING GEL COMPRISING MODIFIED NIOBIUM COMPOUNDS, METHOD AND USE

A teeth whitening based on the generation of active oxygen in the form of oxygen radical species in situ and method for producing the whitening gel which has modified niobium compounds and its activity maximized if applied with hydrogen peroxide in low concentrations, with stabilization by a thickener. The whitening gel can be used without light treatment and with greater efficiency than commercial products and with a significant potential to reduce side effects. The whitening toothpaste and gels including modified niobium compounds associated with cations, the mechanisms of whitening action comes from electronic excitation, from the incidence of radiation on niobium compounds with cations, due to the action of the functional chemical groups present in the nanoparticles, even in the absence of light. In addition, the compounds can act as chemical whiteners, leading to a decrease in caries bacteria due to the oxidant functional groups in the nanoparticles.

Non-rinse micellar water chassis

A non-rinse micellar water composition; method of manufacture for a non-rinse micellar water composition; and a method of use for a micellar water composition are disclosed.

AQUEOUS CONDITIONER FORMULATION FOR THERMALLY STYLED HAIR

An aqueous conditioner formulation for thermally styled hair is provided, including: an aqueous carrier; and a modified carbohydrate polymer, comprising a cellulose ether base material functionalized with (i) trialkyl ammonium moieties of formula (I)

##STR00001##

wherein R.sup.1 is independently a C.sub.1-7 alkyl group and wherein the modified carbohydrate polymer has a Kjeldahl nitrogen content, TKN, corrected for ash and volatiles, of 0.75 to 2.5 wt %; and (ii) hydrophobic substituents having 16 carbon atoms; wherein the modified carbohydrate polymer comprises 0.005 to 1.5 wt %, based on weight of the cellulose ether base material, of the hydrophobic substituents; wherein the hydrophobic substituents are randomly distributed across the backbone of the cellulose ether base material; wherein the cellulose ether base material has a weight average molecular weight, M.sub.W, of >1,000,000 Daltons; and wherein the modified carbohydrate polymer has <0.001 wt %, based on weight of modified carbohydrate polymer, of crosslinking units.

PACKAGE FOR DISPENSING DUAL-PHASE COSMETIC COMPOSITION

A rinse-off hair treatment product with a multi-chamber tube package that can contain a dual-phase rinse-off hair treatment composition that can provide a warming sensation and hair conditioning. The multi-chamber tube package can be a tube-in-tube package with an outer tube with an outer chamber that contains a conditioning composition and an inner tube with an inner chamber that contains a warming composition. The inner chamber is fluidly connected to one or more central orifices by an inner nozzle channel and the outer channel is fluidly connected to one or more outer orifices by an outer channel. The ratio of the area of the central orifice(s) to the outer orifice(s) can be greater than 1. The ratios can help the product dispense as a single stream with two visible phases, which has been found to prompt the consumer to intuitively mix the composition, thereby activating a warming sensation.
