COMPOSITION FOR STABILIZING POORLY SOLUBLE INGREDIENTS AND COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING SAME
The present invention relates to a composition for stabilizing poorly soluble ingredients, comprising hydrogenated lecithin and an anionic surfactant as effective components. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for stabilizing poorly soluble ingredients in cosmetic formulations by using said composition for stabilizing poorly soluble ingredients, a cosmetic composition comprising said composition for stabilizing poorly soluble ingredients and a poorly soluble component, and a preparation method of said cosmetic composition. The composition for stabilizing poorly soluble ingredients of the present invention stabilizes the poorly soluble ingredients in cosmetic formulations, thereby preventing same from being separated or precipitated. Accordingly, by overcoming the limitations of poorly soluble ingredients that tend to precipitate over time and thus were difficult to apply to cosmetic compositions, the present invention provides a cosmetic composition containing such poorly soluble ingredients and having various types of formulations.
DISSOLVABLE SOLID ARTICLE CONTAINING PRESERVATIVES
A dissolvable solid article, comprising: water soluble polymer; a surfactant; at least one selected from diaminocarboxylic acid chelants and salts thereof; at least one selected from aromatic carboxylic acids and salts thereof; a phenolic derivative; at least one selected from α, β-unsaturated Aliphatic Carboxylic Acids, salts, and derivatives thereof; at least one selected from non-aromatic organic alpha hydroxy acids and salts thereof; wherein the dissolvable solid article has a pH of from about 3 to about 5.5 when dissolved with 20 parts water to 1 part of the dissolvable solid article. The present invention provides dissolvable solid articles which provide preservative efficacy even after dissolution of the articles, while controlling the concentrations of preservative ingredients in the solid articles.
Electrochemical Tooth Whitening Composition and Method Thereof
The present invention is directed to a process for electrochemically whitening a tooth, the process comprising: a) contacting the tooth with a whitening gel that is located in a dental device, the dental device comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode; b) flowing a current between the positive electrode and the negative electrode through the whitening gel to whiten the tooth; wherein the whitening gel comprises: water; a bleaching agent; a thickener composition comprising a non-ionic compound; a surfactant; and an electrolyte source comprising a first conductive salt.
Oral Care Compositions
This application provides, among other things, novel aqueous oral care compositions useful for combining and delivering poorly compatible ingredients, in particular, chlorhexidine and polyphosphate salts, by formulating the composition with a surfactant.
Oral care compositions and methods of use
Described herein are oral care compositions comprising a basic amino acid; a combination of zinc ion sources; and from about 0.75 wt. % to about 2 wt. % of a chelating system; along with methods of making and using same.
Concentrated personal cleansing compositions and methods
Methods for enhancing fragrance of a rinse-off cleansing composition prior to use can include combining surfactant, perfume, solvent, and water, to form the composition, wherein the composition is not a ringing gel.
Packaged personal cleansing product
A method of formulating a personal cleansing product that will adhere to skin, includes: combining a cleansing composition with from about 18% to about 70%, by weight of the composition, of a surfactant; wherein the composition has a low shear viscosity of 100 Pa*s or more and a high shear viscosity 5 Pa*s or less; and a package with an orifice, wherein the package has a dispensing velocity of 50 cm/s or more.
Personal care compositions
Described herein are personal care compositions comprising a stability control system comprising a non-ionic opacifier, and a cationic polymer. Methods of making and using the compositions are also described.
LIQUID PERSONAL CLEANSING COMPOSITION
The invention relates to aqueous skin cleansing compositions. Specific amounts and chain length of acyl glycinate and acyl glutamate when used in specified ratios, have been found to unexpectedly enhance lather volume and texture, as well as provide superior mildness.
Personal cleansing compositions
Cleansing compositions can include hinokitiol; and a 2-pyridinol N-oxide material; wherein the ratio by weight of the 2-pyridinol N-oxide material to the hinokitiol is about 1:4 to about 2:1 and the combination of the 2-pyridinol N-oxide material and hinokitiol includes about 9 ppm or more by weight of the cleansing composition.
