R.sup.1CH(SO.sub.3M.sup.1)COOM.sup.2(I), in which the radical R.sup.1 is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical having 6 to 18 carbon atoms and the radicals M.sup.1 and M.sup.2, independently of one another, are selected from H, Li, Na, K, Ca/2, Mg/2, ammonium, and alkanolamine, one or more N-acyl amino acid compound (B) selected from glycinates of general formula (IIa), sarcosinates of general formula (IIb), -alaninates of general formula (IIc), and -alaninates of general formula (IId)
R.sup.23CONHCH.sub.2COOM.sup.13(IIa)
R.sup.23CON(CH.sub.3)CH.sub.2COOM.sup.13(IIb)
R.sup.23CONHCH(CH.sub.3)COOM.sup.13(IIc)
R.sup.23CONHCH.sub.2CH.sub.2COOM.sup.13(IId), wherein the radical R.sup.23 in the compounds (IIa), (IIb), (IIc) and (IId) is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical having 7 to 19 carbon atoms and the radical M.sup.13 is selected from H, Li, Na, K, Ca/2, Mg/2, ammonium, and alkanolamine, and water. The compositions have good foaming ability, pleasant sensory properties of the foam, and good skin compatibility, and are suitable for use as cosmetic agents, detergents, and cleaners.
HAIR COSMETIC COMPOSITION, HAIR COLORING AGENT COMPOSITION, AND HAIR COLOR TREATMENT METHOD
A hair cosmetic that has a better color when performing hair dye includes a hair cosmetic composition containing an alkali agent, an amino acid, a higher alcohol having 12 to 22 carbon atoms, a surfactant, and a thickener. The alkaline agent may be at least one of aqueous ammonia, ammonium carbonate, sodium carbonate, ethanolamines, ammonium bicarbonate, and arginine.
PHARMACEUTICAL OR COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING HAIR LOSS OR PROMOTING HAIR GROWTH
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition or a cosmetic composition for preventing or treating hair loss, or promoting hair growth. The composition according to the present invention exhibits an excellent effect of preventing or treating hair loss and promoting hair growth, and can be safely used regardless of sex and age.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR THE OXIDATIVE DYEING OF KERATIN FIBRES
A dye composition I may include: a) oxidative dye(s); b) anionic polymer thickener(s); and c) antioxidant(s) including thiol-derived reducer(s). A kit may include (1) the dye composition I and (2) oxidizing composition II, including at least one oxidant. The oxidation base may include a para-phenylenediamine, bis(phenyl)alkylenediamine, para-aminophenol, ortho-aminophenol, heterocyclic base, or mixture thereof, optionally in addition salt form.
METHOD FOR PROMOTING HOMEOSTASIS IN THE SKIN
The new product utilizes a novel combination of cannabidiol and niacinamide to maintain skin homeostasis through synergistic pathways which help to protect the skin of an individual.
NANOEMULSIONS AND A METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
Nanoemulsions and a method for making the same are described. The nanoemulsions comprise a skin benefit agent in the water phase and they are made from two macroemulsions that have non-identical pH values.
ERGOTHIONEINE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR MAINTAINING AND/OR INCREASING VITAMIN C LEVELS IN CELLS AND ORGANISMS
Provided herein are methods and compositions for maintaining and/or increasing vitamin C in a cell or organism. The methods and compositions are based, in part, on the synergistic effect of ergothioneine, or a derivative thereof, on vitamin C levels in cells or organisms.
Amino acid carbamate complexes
Disclosed herein are amino acid carbamate complexes, methods of synthesis thereof, oral care compositions comprising the same, and methods of making and using thereof.
SELECTED DICARBOXYLIC ACIDS IN AGENTS THAT ARE GENTLE TO HAIR, AND METHOD FOR OXIDATIVE HAIR DYEING OR BLEACHING
The present disclosure relates to an oxidising agent that is gentle to hair for oxidative hair dyeing or bleaching, and to a gentle method for oxidative hair dyeing or bleaching, in which keratin fibres are protected against oxidative influences.
NOVEL APPLICATIONS AND FORMULATIONS OF OPTIMIZED, MODIFIED HUMAN EMBRYONIC FERTILITY CULTURE MEDIA WITH BIGUANIDES AND/OR FUNCTIONAL EQUIVALENTS
A dermatological preparation comprises an optimized, modified human embryonic fertility culture media with biguanides and/or functional equivalents and the use of said preparation for skin care, hair care, or body care, or dental procedures, or for regenerative medicine such as promoting wound or bone healing. The preparation is formulated to target the hypoxic microenvironment niches of the skin tissue in combination with optimal concentration of nutrients, ions and minerals; to stimulate existing stem cells to trigger the capacity of stem cells to divide and renew and differentiate into specialized cells; and to stimulate molecular and physiological processes, e.g., autophagy, to replenish the substrate pool through the recycling of organelles and the recycling of old damaged proteins and countering free-radical damage to promote anti-aging.
