Acidic Stick Deodorants
Products and methods are disclosed relating to a deodorant stick comprising mandelic acid.
Cosmetic Material Composition Comprising Solid Phase Polymer Having Improved Solubility
The present invention relates to a solid phase cosmetic composition comprising a freeze-dried component of a composition comprising a functional component and a basic amino acid. A solid phase component according to the present invention has excellent re-dissolvability, and exhibits insignificant changes in the hardness and pH of the composition for dissolving the solid component even after re-dissolution, and thus a cosmetic having excellent stability can be provided.
CLEANSING COMPOSITION
One object is to provide a cleansing composition that has excellent cleansing effect and phase inversion feeling, is readily rinsed off in the course of water washing, suppresses the oil-induced stickiness after the use, and has excellent preservation stability. There is provided a cleansing composition comprising: (A) a sugar ester of a fatty acid; (B) at least one type of an anionic surfactant selected from among amino acid surfactants and taurine surfactants; (C) at least one type of a polyglycerol fatty acid diester or a polyglycerol fatty acid triester having an HLB value of not greater than 13; (D) at least one type of a polyglycerol fatty acid monoester having an HLB value of not smaller than 11; (B) an oil that has a liquid form or a paste (non-solid) form at ordinary temperature; (F) a polyol; and (G) water.
Personal care compositions with glutathione precursor comprising 4-substituted resorcinols and amino acids
Topical personal care compositions containing amino acids and 4-substituted resorcinols for potentiating glutathione synthesis within skin cells. The compositions can be used to improve skin appearance of chronological aging or photoaging, resulting from exposure to UV light/sunlight, or environmental pollutants. The compositions are also useful for attaining even skin color and reducing pigmentation, age spots and discoloration.
Compositions for altering the color of hair
The present disclosure relates to color-altering compositions. The compositions comprise a hair color-altering agent and at least one carboxylic acid. Certain compositions further comprise at least one amino acid or amino sulfonic acid, and/or a salt thereof selected from the group consisting of taurine, aspartic acid, cysteine, lysine, methionine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, carnitine, a salt thereof, and a mixture thereof. Also provided are kits and methods of using said color-altering compositions.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION OF LIQUID CRYSTAL LIPID PARTICLES FOR HAIR CARE COMPOSITION
The presently claimed invention relates to liquid crystal lipid particles. The presently claimed invention relates to liquid crystal lipid particles which are used in hair care composition and exhibit excellent hair moisturizing effect.
DETERGENT
A detergent comprising (A) an anionic surfactant, (B) a quaternary ammonium cation-modified silicone, and (C) an organic acid is described. A mass ratio [(A)/(B)] of the component (A) to the component (B) is 100 or more, and a mass ratio [(A)/(C)] of the component (A) to the component (C) is 1 or more and 900 or less.
DETERGENT
A detergent comprising (A) at least one selected from the group consisting of (A1) a carbobetaine type ampholytic surfactant and (A2) a nonionic surfactant, and (B) a quaternary ammonium cation-modified silicone. A mass ratio [(A)/(B)] of the component (A) to the component (B) is 0.1 or more and 1,000 or less, and the content of an anionic surfactant is 4% by mass or less.
Liquid personal cleansing composition
The invention relates to stable, mild and moisturizing lamellar liquid cleansing compositions which possess a lotion-like appearance conveying signals of enhanced moisturization. However, these liquids often are either unstable or cause poor lather production and other sensory deficits The use of a specific ratio of total acyl isethionates to acyl glutamates or other divalent anionic surfactant in a structured liquid product improve stability and lather production, mildness and acceptable odor.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
A concentrate composition comprising: (a) at least 10 wt % of a glycol ester of a fatty acid; (b) at least one acyl alkyl isethionate surfactant of formula (I):
##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 represents an optionally substituted C.sub.4-C.sub.36 hydrocarbyl group; each of R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently represents hydrogen or a C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl group and wherein at least one of R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 is not hydrogen; and M.sup.+ represents a cation; and (c) at least one zwitterionic or amphoteric surfactant.
