Personal Care Composition and Methods of Making the Same
The invention discloses a personal care composition comprising a natural film-forming biopolymer and a water-containing solvent wherein said composition further comprises a compound containing an amine moiety or a compound containing a quaternary ammonium moiety. Optionally the solvent is an alcohol/water mixture. Particularly, the invention relates to a personal care composition for application to a keratinous substrate such as human hair. Methods of making and applying the composition are also disclosed.

A detergent comprising (A) at least one selected from the group consisting of (A1) a carbobetaine type ampholytic surfactant and (A2) a nonionic surfactant, and (B) a quaternary ammonium cation-modified silicone. A mass ratio [(A)/(B)] of the component (A) to the component (B) is 0.1 or more and 1,000 or less, and the content of an anionic surfactant is 4% by mass or less.
