The present invention relates to sunscreen compositions containing as UV filters solely a combination of i) bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (BEMT) and (ii) at least two pigmentary UV-filters, wherein the inorganic UV-filters are surface coated. Said compositions exhibit an appealing skin feel and look.

The present invention is directed to an anti-acne sunscreen composition including (a) an anti-acne system, comprising salicylic acid and at least one additional anti-acne ingredient, (b) an UV filter system, and (c) a stabilizing polymer system. The present invention is also related to a process of manufacturing the anti-acne sunscreen composition and its use.

Provided are an ultraviolet (UV)-blocking cosmetic composition which is dispersed in water and is free of oil and a method of preparing the same. Since the composition does not contain oil, skin trouble may not occur, and since the composition does not include a surfactant, spreadability and feeling of use are excellent. In addition, cloudiness phenomenon or skin greasiness does not occur during use, and the UV-blocking effects are excellent.
