ANTIMICROBIAL SKINCARE COMPOSITION AND TREATMENT
Embodiments of the present disclosure may include a skincare composition comprising an antimicrobial component, an antiaging component and a moisturizing component comprising at least one alpha-hydroxy acid. A treatment method for improving skin may include administering to an area in need thereof a composition comprising an effective amount of an antimicrobial component, an antiaging component and a moisturizing component comprising at least one alpha-hydroxy acid.
METHOD OF TREATMENT OF TOPICAL DERMATOLOGIC ACNE USING A CREAM COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a topical dermatologic acne treatment method using a cream. The treatment method uses two steps, first providing a bactericidal component and second providing a skin revitalizing complex. The bactericidal component clears the acne causing bacteria. The subsequent skin revitalizing complex revitalizes and conditions the skin and aids in return of natural skin flora and microbiome to prevent subsequent outbreaks. The skin revitalizing complex can include a variety of components such as: niacinamide, retinol, bakuchiol, green coffee bean extract, green tea extract, epilobium fleischeri extract, citric acid, dimethicone, and pentaerythrityl tetracaprylate. The skin revitalizing complex restores natural elasticity and oil production of the skin, decrease sebum production, and provide necessary conditioning of the skin to provide for the natural skin flora and microbiome to repopulate and flourish on a surface of the skin.
BIOENERGETIC COMBINATIONS AND METHODS OF USING SAME
Topical personal care compositions for improving cellular energy efficiency by protecting skin from mitochondrial fragmentation that takes place in the cells of an aging individual in need thereof. Use of a topical personal care composition comprising niacinamide and of one or more cooperative skin benefit agents for reducing cellular mitochondrial fragmentation, which cooperative agents are selected from the group consisting of 1-methylnicotinamide chloride, N-acetylmethionine, mixtures thereof, and derivatives thereof. Use of niacinamide and cooperative skin benefit agent selected from 1-methylnicotinamide chloride, N-acetylmethionine, mixtures thereof, and derivatives thereof in the manufacture of a topical personal care composition for decreasing or preventing mitochondrial fragmentation in skin cells and for increasing skin cellular energy.
Dual phase products
A discrete dispensed product with a first portion and a second portion at least partially surrounding the first portion. The product provides a premium and distinct appearance to consumers.
Method of improving penetration of a vitamin B3 compound into skin
Disclosed is a method of improving the penetration of a vitamin B.sub.3 compound into skin. The method involves a skin care regimen in which at least two skin care compositions are used in sequence to treat a target portion of skin where a skin health or appearance benefit is desired. The first composition applied to the skin is a low-pH skin care composition that contains a first concentration of a vitamin B.sub.3 compound. The second skin care composition applied to the skin is a conventional skin care composition that contains a higher concentration of the vitamin B.sub.3 compound than the first composition. When applied in the proper sequence, the regimen results in an unexpectedly high vitamin B.sub.3 flux into the skin.
Dual phase products
A discrete dispensed product comprising a first portion; and a second portion at least partially surrounding the first portion provides a premium and distinct appearance to consumers.
Skin care composition
Methods and compositions for improving the appearance of skin are provided. The methods and compositions are especially suited for improving sallow-looking skin by enhancing bilirubin degradation in skin. The methods and compositions herein utilize one or more sucrose esters, which demonstrate a surprising ability to reduce bilirubin levels. The method involves applying a skin care composition containing an effective amount of a sucrose ester to a target portion of skin where a reduction in bilirubin level is desired.
DIRECT APPLICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE DELIVERY OF BIOACTIVE COMPOSITIONS AND FORMULATIONS
The embodiments relate to improved skin quality, health and appearance using a new delivery method and certain bioactive compositions and formulations. The system incorporates microneedle delivery technology with unique compositions and formulations. Such development allows for the pursuit of personalized medicine, or treatment delivery that can expand to remote controlled environment, immediate compounding and ultimate personalization with a state of the art longitudinal data predictive analytics. Certain formulations described herein are unique, combinatory and synergistic. Secured by high-tech proprietary system, there are unlimited potentials using AQT technology including but not limited to 3-D printing of a biodegradable micro chips that can be delivered via injection, AQT or any other possible route.
SKIN CLEANSING DEVICE HAVING INTERCHANGEABLE CLEANSING HEADS
A skin cleansing device has a base body and a removable cleansing head. The base body houses a vacuum pump and has a mount for connecting to the removable cleansing head. The mount has an opening into the base body and a support surface. The removable cleansing head has a collection portion and a mounting portion. The collection portion defines an inlet and an internal cavity. The mounting portion has a stem defining a channel fluidly connected to the internal cavity. The cleansing head is removably connectable to the base body with the stem being configured to be received in the opening of the mount. The vacuum pump is configured to generate a fluid flow through the internal cavity and the channel into the base body such that a suction force is generated at the inlet.
Nutraceutical composition for the activation of sirtuins with anti-aging/reverse-aging effect
Nutraceutical composition for the activation of sirtuins in humans, the composition including from 10% by weight to 15% by weight of honokiol; from 12% by weight to 40% by weight of pterostilbene; from 22% by weight to 32% by weight of polydatin; from 25% by weight to 40% by weight of ellagic acid and from 1.5% by weight to 3% by weight of a mixture of zinc, seleniun, chromium and nicotinamide, the composition promoting the inhibition of cell degradation and aging phenomena.
