Cochelates using phosphatidylserine/anionic surfactant/calcium chloride
The present invention relates to cochleates using phosphatidylserine/anionic surfactant/calcium chloride and, more specifically, to cochleates comprising phosphatidylserine, an anionic surfactant, calcium chloride, an active ingredient, and water.
ALL-IN-ONE SKIN-BRIGHTENING FORMULATIONS
Certain dermatological formulations for direct skin application that correct for hyperpigmentation effects are provided. Such formulations include a number of different compounds that work synergistically to effectuate multiple and varied pathways to pigment removal and/or brightening within the dermal layer. The ability to do so without the necessity for hydroquinone, and thus with a suitable composition that is safe for handling and utilization by pregnant and nursing women, is accorded through a combination of specific ingredients in limited proportional ranges, as well. Such ingredients include kojic acid, niacinamide, sodium hyaluraonate, tocopherol, and licorice extract in very narrow ranges proportionally within an aqueous serum. The method of manufacture and use thereof such formulations are encompassed within the invention as well.
MULTILAYERED CATIONIC LIPOSOME FOR ENHANCING SKIN ABSORPTION AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
Provided are a multilayered cationic liposome for enhancing skin absorption, a cosmetic composition including the same, and a method of preparing the same.
Superabsorbent polymers and silicone elastomer for use in skin care compositions
A thickened aqueous composition containing from about 0.01% to about 10%, by weight, of an superabsorbent polymer, from about 0.1% to about 20%, of a silicone elastomer; and from about 20% to about 98% of water.
Personal care compositions with cystine
Personal care topical compositions at skin-tolerant pH with cystine which is solubilized or has small crystal size below 20 microns. A process of making the composition is also described.
Skin products with C60 and niacin
A skin product having primary ingredients fullerene, niacin, and at least one of curcumin and tetrahydracurcumin. In some embodiments, the skin product additionally contains a medium-chain fatty acid, as a primary ingredient. Preferably, fullerene is C60, and the medium-chain fatty acid is C8 caprylic acid. The skin product is preferably made by mixing niacin and curcumin (or tetrahydracurcumin) first, then adding the medium-chain fatty acid, and finally mixed with fullerene. The skin product can be used to treat skin conditions (e.g., burn, wrinkles).
COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING FULL SPECTRUM PHOTO PROTECTION
The present disclosure relates to compositions and methods for providing full spectrum photo protection to skin, which includes protection from infrared (IR) radiation and/or visible light in addition to protection from UV radiation. The compositions typically include: (a) baicalin; (b) one or more antioxidants selected from the group consisting of venuceane, polydatin, hesperetin, mango leaf extract, vitamin C; (c) optionally, one or more solubilizers; and (d) a cosmetically acceptable carrier. The compositions are unique in that the combination of (a), (b), optional (c), and (d) alone, provide at least full spectrum protection from ultraviolet radiation (UV), visible light, and infrared radiation (IR). The composition can additionally, optionally, include one or more UV filters to further enhance protection from UV radiation.
Skin Care and Cosmetic Composition
A skin care composition and product having beneficial effects on skin conditions/symptoms, such as reducing wrinkles and skin roughness and improving skin elasticity, etc. The composition has three separate parts: a powder part, an aqueous part and an emulsion part. The power part comprises Oligopeptide-1 and Ginseng saponin. The aqueous part comprises Glycyrrhiza glabra Root Extract, Artemisia capillaris Flower Extract, Radix Mori Albae Extract, Zizyphus jujuba Fruit Extract, Scutellaria baicalensis Root Extract, hydrolyzed rice protein and nicotinamide. The emulsion part comprises Bifida ferment lysate, creatine, carnosine, Glucosyl Hesperidin, Hexapeptide-3, Centella asiatica Extract, Coenzyme Q10 capsule, Opuntia Ficus-indica Stem Extract, Rhodiola rosea Extract, Saussurea Involucrata Extract, Panax notoginseng Root Extract and Angelica sinensis Extract capsule.
