NANOFIBER SHEET, METHOD FOR USING SAME, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A nanofiber sheet has a nanofiber layer composed of an accumulation of nanofibers. The nanofiber sheet has a plurality of membrane-like regions which extend between the nanofibers. The membrane-like regions of the nanofiber sheet each contain a water insoluble polymer and a pigment. The water insoluble polymer contained in the membrane-like regions of the nanofiber sheet is different from a constituent member of the nanofibers. The nanofiber sheet is preferred because it has a plurality of membrane-like aggregate regions, each an aggregate of a plurality of membrane-like regions which are adjacent to each other via a fiber and it has a non-membrane-like region between the membrane-like aggregate regions adjacent to each other.
Bleaching Gel
Disclosed is a dental bleaching gel composition with high electric conductivity. It was the object of the present invention to provide a bleaching gel composition that is less initiating than prior art gels, and is highly efficient such that it can bleach within shorter time. The composition includes a peroxide, or a peroxide releasing compound such as carbamide peroxide, sodium perborate, or sodium percarbonate as a bleaching agent, a cross-linked polyacrylate polymer as a thickening component, and electrical conductivity enhancing ingredients such as electrolytes.
OIL-IN-WATER EMULSION GEL COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to an oil-in-water emulsion gel cosmetic composition comprising an oil agent, water, a polyol, an anionic surfactant, an amphiphilic polymer and a coloring material.
PEPTIDE BASED COSMETIC OR DERMATOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF THE SKIN AND ITS APPENDAGES
The treatment according to the invention provides the use of at least one peptide having the general Formula X-(Xaa)nK*TTK*X′aa-(Xaa)m-Z for a non-therapeutic cosmetic treatment of keratinous tissues of the skin and of its appendages, where X, Xaa, n, K*, X′aa, m and Z are as defined. A preferred peptide is the Pal-KTTKS.
Method for making composition for enamel regeneration
A method for making a composition for enamel regeneration proposes to encapsulate soluble calcium and phosphate salts within corresponding internal water phases in respective water-in-oil-in-water emulsions stabilized by solid particles, and add them to a toothpaste, enamel restoring gel or mouth wash base. In this way, the soluble calcium and phosphate salts can be present stably in the toothpaste, enamel restoring gel or mouth wash over a long period of time. When the toothpaste, enamel restoring gel or mouth wash of the present disclosure is used in oral cavity, the water-in-oil-in-water emulsions rapture under the effect of friction and pressing, releasing the soluble calcium and phosphate salts encapsulated within the corresponding internal water phases. As a result, the liquid in the user's oral cavity will contain high concentrations of calcium and phosphate ions, which can enhance the rate of enamel remineralization.
METHOD FOR DYEING KERATINOUS MATERIAL, COMPRISING THE USE OF AN ORGANOSILICON COMPOUND, AN EFFECT PIGMENT AND A POST-TREATMENT AGENT
A process for dyeing keratinous material, in particular human hair, is disclosed. The process comprises applying to the keratinous material an agent (a) and an agent (b). The agent (a) comprises: (a1) at least one organosilicon compound; and (a2) at least one color-imparting compound comprising at least one effect pigment comprising (A) a substrate platelet comprising synthetic mica and (β) a coating comprising at least a first metal oxide (hydrate) layer. The agent (b) comprises (b1) at least one sealing reagent. A multi-component packaging unit (kit-of-parts) for dyeing keratinous material is also provided, and comprises separately packaged containers including the agents or components thereof for use in the process.
COMPOSITION COMPRISING A (POLY)CARBODIIMIDE COMPOUND AND A COLORING AGENT
The present invention relates to a composition (C) for the treatment of keratin fibers, comprising at least one (poly)carbodiimide compound chosen from the compounds of formula (I), and at least one coloring agent chosen from pigments, direct dyes, and mixtures thereof.
FIBER TREATMENT AGENT COMPOSITION
A fiber treatment agent composition comprising the following components (A) and (B), wherein a content of the component (A) is 0.05% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less, the content of the component (B) is 0.05% by mass or more and 10.0% by mass or less, and a mass ratio of the component (B) to the component (A), (B)/(A), is 150 or less: (A) a self-crosslinking compound; and (B) one or more color deepening agents selected from the group consisting of a nonvolatile silicone, a polyhydric alcohol polymer, a fatty acid ester, and an acrylic resin (excluding agents corresponding to the component (A)).
DISINFECTING COMPOSITION
A disinfecting composition may contain 0.001 to 5 mass % of an MPC copolymer containing a constituent unit based on 2-(meth)acryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine, 5 to 90 mass % of a lower alcohol, and 0.01 to 10 mass % of an aliphatic acid ester-based nonionic surfactant. The MPC copolymer may include one or more copolymer selected from of an MPC copolymer a having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 to 400,000 and an MPC copolymer b having a weight average molecular weight of 800,000 to 1,800,000. Such a disinfecting composition may be excellent in foam sustainability when it is discharged as a foam and that has moist feeling when it is applied.
