A process and a kit-of-parts for dyeing keratinous material such as human hair are provided. An exemplary process includes applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material. The agent (a) includes (a1) at least one organic silicon compound. The method further includes applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material. The agent (b) includes (b1) at least one coloring compound comprising at least one effect pigment comprising a substrate platelet and a coating. The coating includes at least one layer wet-chemically prepared using a metal alkoxide and an organosilicon compound having a basic group. The agent (b) further includes (b2) at least one film-forming polymer.
DISSOLVABLE SOLID STRUCTURE COMPRISING FIRST AND SECOND POLYMERIC STRUCTURANTS
A dissolvable solid structure that is formed by a homogeneous mixture. The mixture includes from about 1% to about 10% of a first polymeric structurant having a molecular weight of from about 1,000,000 g/mol to about 4,000,000 g/mol, from about 10% to about 20% of a second polymeric structurant having a molecular weight of from about 50,000 g/mol to about 500,000 g/mol, from about 10 wt% to about 85 wt% of one or more high melting point fatty material having a carbon chain length C12-C22 or mixtures thereof and a melting point above 25° C., and from about 1 wt% to about 60 wt% of a cationic surfactant. The dissolvable solid structures can provide an adequate strength during manufacturing, while not deteriorating usage feel when used and/or applied by consumers.
ORAL CARE COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed herein are oral care compositions comprising an oral care composition comprising a peroxide whitening complex present in an amount to provide from about 3.0% to about 8% of hydrogen peroxide by weight of the composition; a block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide in an amount from about 0.01% to about 8% by weight of the composition; a stearate in an amount from about 0.3% to about 5% by weight of the composition; and a humectant in an amount from about 60% to about 90% by weight of the composition. Methods of making and using the oral care compositions are also provided.
Semisolid Oral Dispersions Comprising Active Agents
Semisolid oral dispersions for improving the health and/or appearance of the oral cavity. The semisolid oral dispersions include hydrophilic active agent particles in hydrophobic phase. The hydrophilic active agent particles can include bleaching agents, antimicrobial agents, anticalculus agents, and/or combinations thereof. The hydrophilic active agent particle can have a solubility in water of at least about 20 parts, by weight of the particles, in about 100 parts, by weight, of water. The hydrophobic phase can be semisolid petrolatum.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF SKIN INFECTIONS
A pharmaceutical composition for treating skin infections is described herein. A method using a pharmaceutical composition for treating skin infections is described herein. A pharmaceutical composition for treating skin infections may comprise, in 100 parts of the composition, 1-99 parts of a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient; 99-1 parts of a keratolytic; 99-1 parts ethyl pyruvate; and 99-1 parts povidone iodine. A method for treating skin infections may comprise topical application of a composition to an infected skin cell for a treatment period.
USE OF MAGNESIUM HYDRIDE IN PREPARATION OF COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING AND TREATING CHRONIC PERIODONTITIS, AND MAGNESIUM HYDRIDE TOOTHPASTE
The-use of magnesium hydride in the preparation of a composition for preventing and treating chronic periodontitis, and a magnesium hydride toothpaste are provided. In the composition or the magnesium hydride toothpaste, magnesium hydride has a weight percentage of 1% to 3%. The toothpaste has the functions of disinfection, anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation, removing tooth stains, improving bad breath, alleviating gingival swelling, bleeding, and recession, and improving periodontitis symptoms. An appropriate amount of magnesium hydride fine particles is added in toothpaste, and the magnesium hydride particles can be hydrolyzed into hydrogen and magnesium ions with anti-inflammatory effects, which can also inhibit alveolar bone resorption. The magnesium hydride-containing composition is safe in use, and can effectively prevent the occurrence and development of periodontal diseases after long-term use.
