CELL PREPARATION FOR EXTEMPORANEOUS USE, USEFUL FOR HEALING AND REJUVENATION IN VIVO
The present invention relates to new plasma or new platelet-rich plasma preparations, new cell dissociation methods, new cell associations or compositions, a method of preparation thereof, a use thereof, devices for the preparation thereof and preparations containing such a platelet-rich plasma preparation and cell associations or compositions. Specifically, the invention provides plasma or platelet-rich plasma alone or in cell composition preparations for use in tissue regeneration and bone regeneration and pain reduction.
SKIN CARE FORMULATION
There is provided a formulation for skin rejuvenation comprising lyophilised umbilical cord plasma comprising at least one active chemokine, at least one growth factor and at least one cytokine; a transdermal carrier; and a liposomal base, wherein at least a portion of the lyophilised umbilical cord plasma and transdermal carrier are contained within liposomes of the liposomal base. There is also provided a dosage form for skin rejuvenation comprising 1-5% (w/w) lyophilised umbilical cord plasma comprising at least one active chemokine, at least one growth factor and at least one cytokine; 85-95% (w/w) polyethylene glycol; and 0.1-2% (w/w) gum acacia.
SKIN CARE FORMULATION
There is provided a skin care formulation for transdermal administration of a component of a blood product, the formulation comprising a blood product, a transdermal carrier; and a liposomal base, wherein at least a portion of the blood product and transdermal carrier is contained within liposomes of the liposomal base.
Cell preparations for extemporaneous use, useful for healing and rejuvenation in vivo
NOVEL METHODS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PHARMACEUTICAL AGENTS
The invention relates a method for producing a pharmaceutical composition, comprising the steps of: providing a liquid collected from a mammal, which liquid comprises cellular constituents of blood, providing a container having an internal surface, contacting said liquid with said internal surface, incubating said liquid contacted with said internal surface for an incubation time, wherein said liquid is agitated with an agitation means at least once during said incubation time, and after said incubation time has passed, obtaining said pharmaceutical composition by steps comprising (1) collecting said liquid or (2) removing part of or the entirety of said cellular constituents from said liquid and collecting the remainder.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR SEPARATING BLOOD COMPONENTS
Apparatus and methods for separating blood components are disclosed in which an apparatus for separating blood generally includes a tube defining a channel and configured for receiving a quantity of blood and a float contained within the tube and having a density which is predefined so that the float is maintained at equilibrium between a first layer formed from a first fractional component of the blood and a second layer formed from a second fractional component of the blood. Upon completion of the centrifugation, the first layer may be removed from the tube while the float isolates the second layer from the first layer.
BIOLOGIC PRESERVING COMPOSITION AND METHODS OF USE
Disclosed herein are compositions, methods, and systems for treating skin damage or signs of aging in a subject including obtaining whole blood from the subject, collecting platelet rich plasma (PRP) from the whole blood, forming a first topical formulation having the PRP, providing the first topical formulation to the subject for application to an area of skin damage on the subject, providing a second topical formulation to the subject having an activator such that when the second topical formulation is applied to the area of skin damage on top of the first formulation, the PRP is activated and growth factors are released into the area of skin damage. Systems and kits useful in performing the methods are also disclosed.
Cell preparations for extemporaneous use, useful for healing and rejuvenation in vivo
HAIR GROWTH PROMOTING CAPACITY OF CONDITIONED MEDIA OF STIMULATED STEM CELLS AND USE THEREOF
Provided is a composition for preventing hair-loss and promoting hair growth, which contains, as an active ingredient, a conditioned media of stem cells stimulated by particular hair catagen inducers including TGF-β, a method of manufacturing the same, and methods of treatment thereof. In particular, disclosed is a use of the function of very effective hair growth by secreting Wnt3a, Bcl-2, CyclinD-1 and the like, which are known as signal transduction proteins.
