With one daily application, the formula reaches deep into the cellular structures to hydrate skin, delivering a luminous, porcelain effect on all skin types and ages. In an embodiment, the emulsion is provided in the form of a skin cream effective for reducing the visible signs of aging and effects of environmental impact. The skin cream formulation includes a mixture of at least one member of the genus of flowering plants known as Convallaria, an amphiphilic material, such as lecithin, Centella (Centella asiatica or C. Asiatica), an essential oil such as Myrrh; a product derived from aloe, a whole or reconstituted milk formulation, and a mineral clay, in amounts effective to reduce such signs of aging and environmental impact.
Use of cosmetic cleaning compositions as a prebiotic
A composition that includes spray-dried yoghurt powder and at least one anionic surfactant and/or at least one fatty acid soap, may be used as a prebiotic for inhibiting the growth and/or the physiological activity of undesired skin bacteria and/or for obtaining desired skin bacteria. A prebiotically effective cosmetic composition includes: a) at least one fatty acid soap in a weight proportion of between 20 and 75 wt. %, preferably between 30 and 70 wt. %, particularly preferably between 40 and 65 wt. %, and in particular between 45 and 60 wt. %; and b) spray-dried yoghurt powder in a weight proportion of between 0.01 and 10 wt. %, preferably 0.02 and 7.5 wt. %, particularly preferably between 0.03 and 5 wt. %, and in particular between 0.05 and 3 wt. %, wherein the amounts relate to the total weight of the cosmetic composition.
Hair care solid granules that sustain essential oils and or plant herbal extracts that emulsify in water creating therapeutic solution
A hair care product comprising 100% plant derived, biodegradable solid granules that sustain beneficial essential oils or herbal extracts that emulsify in water to create an emulsified therapeutic solution is disclosed. The hair care product improves over existing liquids in that its solid granule form is completely plant derived and biodegradable and can sustain essential oils and antioxidants without the requirement of chemical preservatives, and can be packaged in eco-friendly water soluble film and compostable paper. It improves over existing solid forms in that it is a 100% water soluble granule that emulsifies easily in water to form an easy to use liquid product.
Sensation-improving agent
An object of the present invention is to provide a safety sensation-improving agent that can improve dulled peripheral sensations through daily ingestion or application to the skin. Another object of the present invention is to provide a sensation-improving food, beverage, feed, or cosmetics that can improve dulled peripheral sensations through oral ingestion or application to the skin. A sensation-improving agent containing a milk-derived protein and/or a hydrolysate therefrom as an active ingredient is provided. The milk-derived protein and/or the hydrolysate therefrom can be orally ingested or applied direct to the skin to improve dulled sensations, particularly peripheral sensations, and be formed into a sensation-improving food, beverage, feed, or cosmetics.
Composition for promoting hair growth and improving, preventing, or treating hair loss containing 2′-fucosyllactose as an active ingredient
Disclosed is a composition for promoting hair growth and ameliorating, preventing or treating hair loss containing 2-fucosyllactose (2-FL) as an active ingredient, and a method for promoting hair growth or ameliorating, preventing or treating hair loss, the method comprising administering to a subject in need thereof 2-fucosyllactose. Treatment with a combination of testosterone and 2-fucosyllactose increases hair gloss, increases hair length, reduces a hair loss area, enhances hair cuticles, increases the number and size of hair follicles, and improves expression of proteins and genes related to hair proliferation and growth, compared to treatment with testosterone alone, thus being applicable as a substance for various food and pharmaceutical compositions based on effects of promoting hair growth, improving hair loss, and ameliorating, preventing or treating hair loss.
COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING FOOD-GRADE COMPONENTS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
The present disclosure provides sterilized, shelf-stable cosmetic compositions comprising food-grade components and no preservatives, and methods of making and using same.
HAIR-DYEING COMPOSITION FOR MINIMIZING HAIR DAMAGE AND SCALP IRRITATION CAUSED BY AMMONIA PRESCRIPTION AND AMMONIA ODOR AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A hair-dyeing composition with an effect of minimizing hair damage and scalp irritation caused by ammonia prescription and ammonia odor is capable of decreasing ammonia odor peculiar to a hair-dyeing composition and also of supplementing the hair with amino acids similar to hair proteins to decrease hair damage, especially hair roughness and hair shortening, for healthy dyeing and a method of producing the same.
DELIVERY OF FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENTS
A primary composition comprises all essential nutrients of a fruit or a plant material, which has an increased stability, bio-availability and miscibility, and a process forms same. HAIR CARE AGENTS INCLUDING CASEIN HYDROLYSATE FOR IMPROVING HAIR STRUCTURE
Surprisingly, it has now been found that, when a hair care agent including at least one casein hydrolysate is applied, the hair growth itself and thus also the structure, elasticity, strength, resistance, and shine of the keratin fiber are significantly improved. Furthermore, is has surprisingly been found that the compositions according to the invention are suitable for triggering the release of growth factors and for strengthening and thickening the hair by stimulating the proliferation of the hair keratinocytes. The stimulation of the keratinocytes of the outer root sheath, which are partly responsible for the formation of the hair shaft, occurs by means of the growth factors HGF and KGF. Effects such as the overconditioning of the hair are avoided by means of the biologically based hair thickening. The hair grows more intensely from the root on and with a larger diameter, so this effect is particularly long-lasting.
