A deodorant dispensing system is provided. The system includes a reusable deodorant case having a body and a dial rotatably coupled to the body. The body is structured to receive a replaceable deodorant cartridge containing an unused deodorant puck. Operation of the dial along a predetermined rotational direction causes the deodorant puck to dispense for application by a user, whereas operation of the dial along a rotational direction opposite to the predetermined rotational direction causes the deodorant puck to retract within the deodorant cartridge. Operation of the dial in a direction to retract the deodorant puck after the deodorant puck it is fully retracted causes the dial to rotate freely with respect to the body without causing damage to internal components of the deodorant dispensing system.

A refillable dispenser including a casing and a platform for receiving consumable material. A knob rotatably mounted at a bottom end of the dispenser is mechanically coupled to the platform such that rotating the knob moves the platform up or down within the dispenser. Gripping arms connected to the platform are configured to flex toward a longitudinal axis and engage the consumable material when the platform is away from a top travel position such that the consumable material is secured to the platform. The gripping arms are configured to flex away from the longitudinal axis and release the consumable material from the platform when the platform is at the top travel position.

Embodiments include reusable stick deodorant containers and associated inserts. The container includes a rotatable detachable base that allows an empty insert to be removed and replaced with a full insert. Each insert includes a screw and a follower that engages the screw. The screw engages the detachable base following insertion into the container, so that rotating the base causes the screw to rotate, moving the follower through the insert and expelling the end of a deodorant stick that is disposed upon the follower.

A processor analyzes the images of the human skin to identify skin deviations. A cartridge includes a nozzle located in the applicator head. The applicator head includes an outer housing engagement structure that engages the applicator head engagement structure with the cartridge inserted into the outer housing to inhibit removal of the cartridge from the outer housing. A cap engages the applicator head. The cap has a locked configuration connected to the applicator head where the applicator head is removable from the outer housing and an unlocked configuration connected to the applicator head where removal of the applicator head from the outer housing is inhibited.
