Suppository Insertion Device, Suppository, And Method Of Manufacturing A Suppository
Today's suppositories are typically packaged individually for digital administration into the anal canal of a patient. A suppository applicator described herein, which works with individually packaged suppositories, can alternatively be shipped in a prepackaged operational arrangement with a suppository to enable the patient to administer the suppository through use of the applicator in a single operation after opening a hygienic wrapper containing the applicator-suppository combination. A method for manufacturing a suppository includes manufacturing the suppository in the presence of and in contact with an element configured to be used to insert the suppository into a body cavity. The method may include using the element to define a shape of the suppository during the manufacturing. The resulting applicator-suppository combination is more hygienic and easier to handle than the separate applicator and suppository and provides more efficiency from time of opening the packaging to time of commencing administration of the suppository
DISPENSERS
A method of manufacturing a dispenser for a product in stick form (50). The dispenser includes an inner tube (12) and a product concealing tube (16) disposed outwardly of the inner tube (12). The product concealing tube (16) is retractable and extendable relative to the inner tube (12) for exposing and covering a product stick (50) extending from a distal end of the inner tube (12) in use. The method includes: providing a first blank of sheet material for providing the inner tube (12) of the dispenser; wrapping the first blank around a mandrel to provide the inner tube (12) of the dispenser; and providing a second blank of sheet material for providing the product concealing tube (16) of the dispenser. The second blank comprises a slot, and a guide element (38) disposed within the slot. The method also includes: applying a bonding agent to the second blank in a region corresponding to a surface of the guide element (38); and wrapping the second blank around the inner tube (12) while the inner tube (12) is held on a mandrel to provide the product concealing tube (16), with the surface of the guide element (38) to which bonding agent has been applied facing the inner tube (12), such that the guide element (38) becomes bonded to an exterior surface of the inner tube (12). The slot provides a recess (24) in the interior surface of the formed product concealing tube (16). In use, the product concealing tube (16) is movable relative to the inner tube (12) with the guide element (38) cooperating with the recess (24) for guiding the movement of the product concealing tube (16) relative to the inner tube (12). There is also provided a dispenser for a product in stick form (50).
DISPENSERS
A method of manufacturing a dispenser for a product in stick form (50). The dispenser includes an inner tube (12) and a product concealing tube (16) disposed outwardly of the inner tube (12). The product concealing tube (16) is retractable and extendable relative to the inner tube (12) for exposing and covering a product stick (50) extending from a distal end of the inner tube (12) in use. There is also provided a dispenser for a product in stick form (50).
Refillable lipstick case
A refillable lipstick case comprising a refill, an outer shell and a cover. The refill is configured to be detachably received at least partially within a hollow cylindrical body of the outer shell such that the refill can be replaced when a cosmetic stick held within the refill is used up by a consumer. The outer shell and the cover are retained for re-use, and the refill can be replaced with a new refill.
Keyed Refillable Cosmetic Dispenser
A keyed refillable cosmetic dispenser for a stick cosmetic. The cosmetic dispenser has a cosmetic insert cartridge and a dispenser base with a matching key pattern combination. The insert cartridge has an inner body with a key pattern, an elevator cup, and a rotary extension and retraction mechanism for the elevator cup and a retained cosmetic. The key pattern of the insert cartridge can be a keyway in a keyway member of the inner body, and the key pattern of the dispenser base can be formed on a central column that forms a key member. The key patterns can be patterns of surface deviations, such as ridges and channels, that intermesh when the cosmetic insert cartridge is received by the dispenser base to produce a rotary driving engagement therebetween. A line of keyed cosmetic dispensers can be established by plural cosmetic dispensers with different key pattern combinations.

Refillable Cosmetic Dispenser
A refillable cosmetic dispenser with a cartridge for a stick cosmetic that can be locked in a retracted position except when engaged with a corresponding dispenser base. Locking formations retained by an elongate body and an elevator cup have a locked condition to lock the elevator cup against movement relative to the elongate body. The dispenser base receives the elongate body, and a release member of the dispenser base actuates the locking formations from the locked condition to the unlocked condition. The locking formations retained by the elongate body can be plural resiliently deflectable fingers disposed along a circular shape, and the release member can be a central column that is operative to deflect the resiliently deflectable fingers out of engagement with the locking formation of the elevator cup. The elevator cup can thus be locked in a retracted position to be freed by a corresponding dispenser base.
Repeatedly refillable reusable dispenser
A repeatedly refillable reusable solution cartridge retrofit device for a dispenser includes a housing which has a bottom side and an opened upper side. A screw rod is coupled through the housing such that it is rotatably secured to the bottom of the housing. A cartridge plate further engages with the screw rod. The cartridge plate is connected to a cartridge which includes a spreadable substance. Upon use a housing of the cartridge is removed revealing the spreadable substance.

A repeatedly refillable reusable solution cartridge retrofit device for a dispenser includes a housing which has a bottom side and an opened upper side. A screw rod is coupled through the housing such that it is rotatably secured to the bottom of the housing. A cartridge plate further engages with the screw rod. The cartridge plate is connected to a cartridge which includes a spreadable substance. Upon use a housing of the cartridge is removed revealing the spreadable substance.
