An applicator member for applying a cosmetic product to human keratin materials, including an applicator head having two opposite faces, the applicator head including: a first part having at least one housing, and a second part that is connected to the first part by a hinge and is at least partially engaged in the housing of the first part, wherein the first and second parts are both accessible from each of the faces of the applicator head.

The invention relates to a container (1) for accommodating a liquid, in particular a deodorant roller, has a container jacket (2), a discharge opening (3) arranged in the container jacket (2), a supporting and holding unit (4) which is arranged on the container jacket (2) and which encloses a flow channel (5) connected to the discharge opening (3), and a ball (6) arranged such that the ball can rotate in the supporting and holding unit (4) and is able to seal off said flow channel (5) with respect to the surroundings of the container (1). Formed between the supporting and holding unit (4) and the ball (6) are at least three contact areas (7), which run around the ball (6) and are formed substantially parallel to one another. Preferably, at least two contact areas (7) are formed as a supporting and holding areas (8), and at least one contact area (7) as a sealing area (9).

An application element and an applicator comprising pluralities of said application elements on a molded support is provided for applying a product such as a cosmetic, a medicinal or a care product. At least one application element of the applicator includes a base portion and at least one thin projection. The thin projection includes at least one surface and wherein the at least one outer surface flushes with at least a portion of an outer surface of the base portion.

Implementations of an apparatus and method for applying cosmetic eyebrows are provided. In some implementations, the eyebrow applicator may be used to apply a cosmetic eyebrow on each brow ridge of a user. In some implementations, the eyebrow applicator may comprise a left brow applicator and a right brow applicator separated by a core ply having a window therethrough. In some implementations, a cosmetic formula in the shape of an eyebrow may be deposited on each of the brow applicators. In some implementations, the right brow and the left brow applicators may be positioned on the assembled eyebrow applicator so that the side of each brow applicator having the cosmetic formula thereon is secured to the core ply and the cosmetic formula is thereby positioned within the window. In this way, the brow applicators are kept separated thereby preventing smudging and/or smearing of the cosmetic formula thereon.

Implementations of an apparatus and method for applying cosmetic eyebrows are provided. In some implementations, the eyebrow applicator may be used to apply a cosmetic eyebrow on each brow ridge of a user. The make-up item including an applicator having application head defining an envelope surface, and a make-up product dispenser, which includes a site for receiving the applicator, and having an outer valve provided with at least one dispensing opening which faces a portion of the envelope surface when the applicator is received in the site, the valve being able to assume a closed position and an open position wherein the valve releases product directly against the head of the applicator.

Cosmetic compositions capable of forming a multilayer structure after application to a keratinous material are provided, as well as methods of applying such compositions to a keratinous material. Certain cosmetic compositions comprises at least two immiscible components: Component A which comprises about 0.01% to 60% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition of at least one silicone-containing film forming agent having at least one glass transition temperature which is lower than normal human body temperature; and Component B which comprises about 0.01% to 90% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition of one or more silicone compounds in amounts sufficient to achieve a viscosity of about 1,000 cSt to 10,000,000 cSt, wherein the weight ratio of silicone-containing film forming agent(s) in Component A to silicone compound(s) in Component B is from about 1:50 to 50:1.
