The present invention is a cosmetics case comprising a base unit comprising a compartment and a hinge. The cosmetics case further comprises a lighted mirror unit comprising a mirror and a plurality of light sources adapted to emit light from the mirror. The lighted mirror unit being engaged with the hinge of the base unit between a closed position where the lighted mirror unit is resting upon the base unit with the mirror and light sources facing away from the compartment and an open position where the compartment is exposed and the mirror and light sources face an open area above the compartment.

The present invention is a cosmetics case comprising a base unit comprising a compartment and a hinge. The vessel further comprises at least one additional volume (13) outside the tank (6), in fluid communication with the inside of said tank (6). This helps optimise the volume available for containing a liquid make-up, while allowing the latter to be effectively retained in the refill. The invention also concerns an assembly comprising a case (1) and such a refill (2).

The invention concerns a refill (2) intended to be inserted into a makeup case (1). The refill (2) comprises a vessel containing a liquid makeup, the vessel comprising a tank (6) comprising an open top face forming an opening for dispensing the makeup. The tank (6) is delimited by a side wall (18) in line with the opening and a bottom (22) of the tank. The refill (2) comprises an absorbent complex (7) in the tank (6). A cosmetic compact including a hinge, the hinge including a spine having at least two extensions and at least two protrusions extending from the at least two extensions; a base, the base including at least two receivers and at least one opening configured to receive at least one pan; and a cover, wherein the cover and the base are connected to one another via the hinge. The spine having (1) a locked position wherein the extensions are configured to wrap around the base and the at least two protrusions are configured to be removably locked into the at least two receivers thereby securing the at least one pan within the at least one opening, and (2) an unlocked position wherein the at least two protrusions are configured to be removed from the at least two receivers thereby providing access to the at least one opening.

The tray includes a notched zone able to cooperate with a toothed wheel of the cover in such a way that the passage of the tray from the rest position to the position of use results in the opening of the cover, and, reciprocally, the passage of the tray from the position of use to the rest position results in the closing of the cover.
