AGONIST ANTI-CD40 ANTIBODIES
The present application generally relates to the identification of certain agonist anti-CD40 antibodies. Based thereon, the invention provides novel agonist antibodies, and the use thereof in therapy.
Immune cells expressing membrane-bound interleukin 15 (mbIL15) and uses thereof
The present invention provides, in certain aspects, a natural killer (NK) cell that expresses all or a functional portion of interleukin-15 (IL-15), and methods for producing such cells. The invention further provides methods of using a natural killer (NK) cell that expresses all or a functional portion of interleukin-15 (IL-15) to treat cancer in a subject or to enhance expansion and/or survival of NK cells.
Use of low dose IL-2 for treating autoimmune-related or inflammatory disorders
The present invention relates to novel therapies for treating autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. More specifically, the present invention relates to a use of low dose interleukin-2 for the treatment of type I diabetes and other autoimmune and/or inflammatory diseases.
Combination of low dose IL-2 and an inhibitor of Treg IL-2R desensitization to treat autoimmune and allergic inflammatory diseases
Provided herein are methods and compositions for treating inflammatory disease by the administration, to a patient in need thereof, of an inhibitor of IL-2R desensitization in combination with a low dose of IL-2. A low dose of interleukin-2 (IL-2) is sufficient to stimulate regulatory T lymphocytes (Tregs) without substantially inducing effector T lymphocytes (Teffs). In some embodiments, the inhibitor of IL-2R desensitization is a small molecule or drug. Is some embodiments the inhibitor is a NEDD8 activating enzyme (NAE) inhibitor. In some embodiments a combination therapy provides for a synergistic effect, where the combination of the inhibitor of IL-2R desensitization and low dose IL-2 provides an effect that is greater than the sum of either the inhibitor or low dose IL-2 administered as a single agent.

Cytokine conjugates for the treatment of proliferative and infectious diseases
Disclosed herein are interleukin (IL) conjugates (e.g., IL-2 conjugates) and use in the treatment of one or more indications. Also described herein are pharmaceutical compositions and kits comprising one or more of the interleukin conjugates (e.g., IL-2 conjugates).
Peptide Therapeutics Against SARS-COV-2 Spike Protein
Proteinaceous therapeutics, such as antibodies and fusion proteins, for preventing, reducing the occurrence of, and/or treating a SARS-CoV-2 infection in a subject are provided herein. The methods provided herein include administering to a subject an antigen binding fragments (Fab fragment) or antibody that binds to the S ARS-CoV-2 Spike protein, ACE2 decoy peptides that bind to the SAILS-CoV-2 Spike protein, and/or a DNA construct encoding an anti-Spike Fab fragment or ACE2 decoy peptide.
COMPOSITION FOR ANTICANCER TREATMENT, COMPRISING NK CELLS AND FUSION PROTEIN WHICH COMPRISES IL-2 PROTEIN AND CD80 PROTEIN
Provided is an anticancer agent, comprising, as active ingredients, NK cells and a fusion protein which comprises an IL-2 protein and CD80 protein. In one specific embodiment, a fusion protein comprising a CD80 fragment, an immunoglobulin Fc and an IL-2 variant can activate immunocytes such as natural killer cells. In addition, since cancer can be effectively inhibited when co-administering with natural killer cells, the pharmaceutical composition increases the immune activity in the body so as to be effectively usable for cancer, there by having high industrial applicability.
Antigen-presenting cell-mimetic scaffolds and methods for making and using the same
Embodiments herein described provide antigen-presenting cell-mimetic scaffolds (APC-MS) and use of such scaffolds to manipulating T-cells. More specifically, the scaffolds are useful for promoting growth, division, differentiation, expansion, proliferation, activity, viability, exhaustion, anergy, quiescence, apoptosis, or death of T-cells in various settings, e.g., in vitro, ex vivo, or in vivo. Embodiments described herein further relate to pharmaceutical compositions, kits, and packages containing such scaffolds. Additional embodiments relate to methods for making the scaffolds, compositions, and kits/packages. Also described herein are methods for using the scaffolds, compositions, and/or kits in the diagnosis or therapy of diseases such as cancers, immunodeficiency disorders, and/or autoimmune disorders.
