WOUND HEALING COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to compositions for use in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and cosmeceutical applications, particularly wound healing, including the treatment of lesions and burns. In particular, the present invention relates to compositions comprising platelet enriched plasma (PRP) and stem cell conditioned medium (SC CM) for use in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and cosmeceutical applications such as wound healing.
Combination therapy for the treatment of migraines
The current disclosure address a need in the art by providing methods and compositions for treating migraines and certain pain-related disorders with a combination therapy. Accordingly, aspects of the disclosure relate to a method for treating a migraine, post-traumatic headache, or chronic pain syndrome patient, the method comprising administering to the patient an effective amount of an insulin growth factor receptor (IGFR) activator and a calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) inhibitor. Further aspects relate to a composition comprising insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and a CGRP inhibitor. Also provided are methods for treating fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome in a patient, the method comprising administering to the patient an effective amount of an insulin growth factor receptor (IGFR) activator.
Supraparticles
The present disclosure relates to improved supraparticles loaded with high levels of payload and methods for their production. Such supraparticles may be used in a range of therapeutic applications, for example, to improve growth or survival of cells and/or treat disease.
ENGINEERED BACTERIAL THERAPEUTICS FOR THE TREATMENT OF GASTROINTESTINAL DISEASE
Provided herein are engineered bacterial therapeutics and methods of use thereof for treating gastrointestinal disease.
Methods and compositions for treating inflammatory and autoimmune conditions with ECM-affinity peptides linked to anti-inflammatory agents
The disclosure relates to the engineering of collagen-binding modification of anti-inflammatory agents using collagen-binding peptide (CBP) and vWF A3 to achieve targeted therapy for inflammatory diseases. Accordingly, embodiments of the disclosure relate to a composition comprising an anti-inflammatory agent operatively linked to an extracellular matrix (ECM)-affinity peptide. Also disclosed are cytokines and anti-inflammatory agents, such as CD200, linked to a serum protein and/or an ECM-affinity peptide. Further aspects of the disclosure relate to a method for treating an autoimmune or inflammatory condition in a subject comprising administering a composition of the disclosure to the subject.
