COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TARGETED DELIVERY TO CELLS
Described herein are compositions, kits, and methods for potent delivery to a cell of a subject. The cell can be of a particular cell type, such as a basal cell, a ciliated cell, or a secretory cell. In some cases, the cell can be a lung cell of a particular cell type. Also described herein are pharmaceutical compositions comprising a therapeutic or prophylactic agent assembled to a lipid composition. The lipid composition can comprise an ionizable cationic lipid, a phospholipid, and a selective organ targeting lipid. Further described herein are high-potency dosage forms of a therapeutic or prophylactic agent formulated with a lipid composition.
Multifunctional zwitterionic polymer conjugates
The present invention provides random copolymers containing zwitterions and one or more functional agents, and methods of preparing such random copolymers.
PHOSPHORYLCHOLINE-TUFTSIN CONJUGATE FOR TREATING OCULAR INFLAMMATION
Methods of treating or preventing ocular inflammation in a subject in need thereof, and methods of reducing the dose of a steroid administered to a subject suffering from ocular inflammation, comprising administering to an eye of the subject a pharmaceutical composition a phosphorylcholine-tuftsin conjugate comprising at least one phosphorylcholine moiety or a derivative thereof and tuftsin or a derivative thereof are provided.
Peptides having reduced toxicity that stimulate cholesterol efflux
The present invention provides a family of non-naturally occurring polypeptides having cholesterol efflux activity that parallels that of full-length apolipoproteins (e.g., Apo AI and Apo E), and having high selectivity for ABCA1 that parallels that of full-length apolipoproteins. Further, the peptides of the invention have little or no toxicity when administered at therapeutic and higher doses. The invention also provides compositions comprising such polypeptides, methods of identifying, screening and synthesizing such polypeptides, and methods of treating, preventing or diagnosing diseases and disorders associated with dyslipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, or inflammation; or diseases involving abnormal glucose metabolism, e.g., diabetes, metabolic syndrome; or Alzheimer's Disease or frontotemporal dementia.
Phosphorylcholine conjugates and uses thereof
The present invention provides phosphorylcholine conjugates and pharmaceutical compositions comprising same for the prevention or treatment of autoimmune diseases. In particular, the conjugates of the present invention are effective in treating autoimmune diseases associated with pathological inflammation.
Phospholipid ether analogs as cancer-targeting drug vehicles
The present invention is directed to therapeutic compounds capable of targeting cancer cells and cancer stem cells. The present invention is further directed to compositions comprising these therapeutic compounds and methods of treating cancer comprising administering these therapeutic compounds.
Layer-by-layer nanoparticles for cytokine therapy in cancer treatment
Disclosed are particles for delivering cytokinese, such as IL-12, for the treatment of cancer. The particles comprise cytokines non-covalently bound to liposomes, where the liposomes are coated with polyelectrolytes.
DESIGN AND EFFICIENT SYNTHESIS OF LIPID-FLUORESCEIN CONJUGATES FOR CAR-T CELL THERAPY
The disclosure relates to lipid-fluorescein conjugates, compositions comprising same, and methods of synthesis and use, such as in the treatment of cancer.
Nano-enabled immunotherapy in cancer
In certain embodiments a platform technology for the facilitating immune therapy in the treatment of cancer is provided. In certain embodiments nanocarriers are provided that facilitate delivery of an IDO inhibitor in conjunction with an inducer of cell death (ICD-inducer). In certain embodiments the IDO inhibitor is conjugated to a component of a lipid bilayer forming a nanovesicle. In still another embodiment, methods and compositions are provided where an ICD-inducing agent (e.g., doxorubicin, oxaliplatin, mitoxantrone etc.) and an IDO pathway inhibitor (e.g., an IDO inhibitor-prodrug) are integrated into a nanocarrier (e.g. a lipid-bilayer (LB)-coated nanoparticle), that allows systemic delivery to orthotopic pancreatic cancer site.
SYNTHETIC NANOSTRUCTURES INCLUDING NUCLEIC ACIDS AND/OR OTHER ENTITIES
Articles, compositions, kits, and methods relating to nanostructures, including synthetic nanostructures, are provided. Certain embodiments described herein include structures having a core-shell type arrangement; for instance, a nanostructure core may be surrounded by a shell including a material, such as a lipid bilayer, and may include other components such as oligonucleotides. In some embodiments, the structures, when introduced into a subject, can be used to deliver nucleic acids and/or can regulate gene expression. Accordingly, the structures described herein may be used to diagnose, prevent, treat or manage certain diseases or bodily conditions. In some cases, the structures are both a therapeutic agent and a diagnostic agent.
