INTERFACE AND ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES FOR CUSTOMIZED SKIN CARE REGIMEN BASED ON SKIN DIAGNOSTICS
A computer system generates a computer-guided personal care routine based at least in part on a digital model of a user's face. In an embodiment, a computer system generates the model based on one or more images or scans of the user's face, and generates a computer-guided personal care routine based on the model, environmental data (e.g., temperature data, humidity data, pollution data, UV radiation data), and user data. In an embodiment, a routine generated on this basis includes multiple steps to be carried out using a computer-controlled skin care device as well as user prompts related to execution of such steps that are configured to be presented in a user interface. In an embodiment, the computer-guided routine includes one or more operational settings (e.g., brush head speed, cleansing duration) for the computer-controlled skin care device that are automatically set at appropriate times according to the generated routine.
System for forming a cosmetic composition
A system forms a cosmetic composition. The system includes a dispensing arrangement in selective fluid communication with a plurality of dispensing dosing receptacles mounted on a movable carousel. The dispensing arrangement is configured to selectively dispense a plurality of the booster compositions together with a base composition corresponding to a formulation corresponding to a compatibility profile and consumer skin conditions to form a stable composition having efficacious concentrations of active ingredients into a receiving receptacle.
Cosmetic applicator
A makeup applicator is provided for automatically applying makeup to a face located in an application zone, and includes computer memory; a scanning device positioned to obtain facial-structure, facial-position, and facial-tone information from the zone; a carriage; carriage actuators for moving the carriage laterally and transversely adjacent the zone; a cosmetic airbrush unit coupled to and movable with the carriage; and a processor in data communication with the memory, the scanning device, and the carriage actuators. The cosmetic airbrush unit has an output nozzle, a supply passage for supplying makeup from a cosmetic reservoir to the output nozzle, and a valve selectively allowing the makeup to flow through the supply passage and the output nozzle. Programming causes the carriage actuators to move the carriage, and the airbrush unit valve to allow the makeup to flow through the supply passage and the output nozzle, applying the makeup to the human face.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program capable of facilitating fixed-point observation on skin condition. The information processing device according to an aspect of the present technology acquires an image that shows a predetermined feature point of a user who is a measurer of skin condition, and a measurement portion of skin condition, and analyzes the image, and then recognizes a position of the feature point. Furthermore, information indicating the measurement portion is displayed at a predetermined position on the image while setting, as a reference, the recognized position of the feature point. The present technology is applicable to information processing devices such as a tablet terminal, a smartphone, and a personal computer.
DETERMINING A HAIR COLOR TREATMENT OPTION
Methods and systems are provided for determining a hair color treatment option. The methods and systems include calibrating a camera of the mobile device via a calibration card by determining calibration values from a calibration image captured by the camera, obtaining, with the camera, a first image of a user's hair, obtaining, with the camera, a second image of a target color, the target color representing a color to which the user desires to change at least a portion of the hair, and presenting, via a user interface (UI) of the mobile device, a recommendation, the recommendation providing at least one hair color treatment option to change at least the portion of the user's hair to the target color.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING SPECTRAL CHARACTERISTICS OF AN IMAGE CAPTURED BY A CAMERA ON A MOBILE ENDPOINT DEVICE
A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and apparatus for determining spectral characteristics of an image captured by a camera on a mobile endpoint device are disclosed. For example, the method includes receiving the image of a color calibration card comprising a plurality of color patches and a quick response (QR) code, wherein each one of the plurality of color patches has a known spectral reflectance, determining spectral characteristics from the image of the color calibration card, wherein the spectral characteristics are used to analyze additional images that are received from the camera on the mobile endpoint device and transmitting an activation signal to activate an incentive associated with the QR code to the mobile endpoint device in response to receiving the image of the color calibration card.
DRAWING APPARATUS AND DRAWING METHOD FOR DRAWING APPARATUS
A drawing apparatus including a drawing unit that detachably holds a drawing tool that performs a drawing on an object and a drawing tool standby unit for causing at least one spare drawing tool to stand by.
In a state where a first drawing tool is caused to be held in the drawing unit and a second drawing tool is caused to be held in the drawing tool standby unit, the drawing unit is controlled to perform a drawing within a first region of the object by using the first drawing tool and, when a first undrawn area occurred within the first region, the first undrawn area being an area where the first drawing tool was not performed correctly, the first drawing tool held is caused to be replaced with the second drawing tool; and the drawing unit is caused to perform a drawing in the undrawn area by using the second drawing tool.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, PRINTER APPARATUS, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing apparatus controls an operation of a printer apparatus that prints an image on a sheet being attachable to skin. The image processing apparatus includes: an image acquirer that acquires a skin image; an image analyzer that extracts, from the skin image, a discolored region differing in color from surrounding skin by at least a predetermined level, and color of the surrounding skin; a print type determiner that determines, based on at least one of color and size of the discolored region, a print type that includes at least one of use/nonuse of a base material containing a white pigment, a particle shape of a print material used in the printing, a scheme of the printing, and use/nonuse of lamé powder; and a printing controller that outputs, to the printer apparatus, image data having a content of printing a print material in the surrounding color, on a region corresponding to the discolored region in the sheet, and controls an operation of the printer apparatus according to the determined print type.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CUSTOMIZATION OF COSMECEUTICALS
A computerized system for initiating preparation of a customized cosmeceutical formulation, comprising a processor configured to execute program instructions to instantiate a cosmeceutical utility configured for (i) obtaining a skin type, a first skin concern and a prioritized set of second skin concerns from a user; (ii) selecting a base composition from a set of base compositions based on the skin type and the first skin concern; (iii) selecting a subset of booster compositions by determining a prioritized original set of booster compositions based on the prioritized set of second skin concerns; and verifying mutual compatibility of a subset of booster compositions in the original set. If the verifying indicates incompatibility among two or more booster compositions in the subset, the utility is configured to substitute a lower-priority booster composition in the two or more booster compositions with a booster composition that is in the original set but not in the subset; and (iv) causing an electronic message comprising a request to be released towards a recipient, the request identifying the selected base composition and the selected subset of booster compositions.
