A shampoo bowl and neck/head rest combination wherein the shampoo bowl for receiving the neck and/or head area has a recessed area for receiving the neck/head rest below a top edge of the shampoo bowl. In another embodiment, a shampoo bowl arrangement comprises a bowl, the bowl dimensioned to receive a neck area and/or a head area of a person during a hair washing, hair cutting, massaging and/or hair coloring procedure; and one or more accessories, couplable to the bowl and utilizable during the hair washing, hair cutting, massaging and/or hair coloring procedure. In a preferred embodiment, a cushion is provided, wherein the cushion extends along at least a portion of a top edge of the shampoo bowl, and wherein the one or more accessories are coupled to the cushion and the cushion and the neck/head rest are integrated as one unit (e.g. one piece of material).

Systems and methods for a manicure head rest are provided. The system may include a head rest mechanically coupled to a plurality of members at one end of the plurality of members that is mechanically coupled to a fastening means at an other end. A first member may be connected to the head rest at one end and second member at the other end. The second member may be connected to the first member at one end and a third member at the other end. The third member may be connected to the second member at one end and a fourth member at the other end. The fourth member may be connected to the third member at one end and the fastening means at the other end. The fourth member may be permanently connected to the fastening means.

According to the present disclosure, makeup is put on based on the characteristics of the face of the person who is having the makeup put on. A control part and an application part are provided, where the control part includes: an area determining part configured to determine an area to apply a cosmetic product, based on a selected application pattern and at least two application characteristic points on a face; and a command part configured to command an application device to apply the cosmetic product to the area, and where the application part applies the cosmetic product to the area as commanded by the control part.

According to the present disclosure, makeup is put on based on the characteristics of the face of the person who is having the makeup put on. A control part and an application part are provided, where the control part includes: an area determining part configured to determine an area to apply a cosmetic product, based on a selected application pattern and at least two application characteristic points on a face; and a command part configured to command an application device to apply the cosmetic product to the area, and where the application part applies the cosmetic product to the area as commanded by the control part.

A garment using a phase change material that change phase from solid to liquid at a low or high temperatures situated within a gel matrix. The phase change material may be used after surgical procedures to reduce swelling, edema and bruising. The gel matrix allows the material of the present invention to maintain a conformable and elastic form at room temperature. This invention provides the novelty of a low or high temperature phase change material that is conformable to surfaces or volumes of varying geometry.

A cervical spine and head supporting device is described herein for supporting a user's head when extended at least partially over the sink or basin. The device maintains alignment of the head with the neck or spine particularly as the user moves their head relative to the device or sink to prevent or minimize straining of the user's neck while washing their hair. The device generally comprises a base which is shaped for positioning within a sink or basin, a support column adjustable attached to the base, a supporting member extending from the support column, and a head support which is shaped to support a posterior region of a head of a user, where the head support is pivotably coupled to the supporting member such that the head support is adjustable with a movement of the head when the head is moved relative to the supporting member.
