An ear protection apparatus includes a flexible ear guard assembly with an integrally formed ear protector on each end of a connecting band. The connecting band is configured to position each of the ear protectors in contact with an ear of a user. The ear protection apparatus further includes a support structure coupled to the top of the ear guard assembly for structural stiffness. The support structure is configured to be deformable or bendable into different shapes such that it can be folded behind the user's neck or head to cover each ear thus protecting it from heat and/or chemicals during hair styling. The ear protector may optionally include a pair of breathable ear cups.

In some embodiments, the placing of extensions is carried out by a robotic mechanism utilizing computer vision, and in some embodiments, a barrier is created between the robotic mechanism and said subject in order to protect them in the event of a malfunction.

An ear covering system for keeping ears warm while wearing earphones includes a pair of earphones. Each of the earphones is selectively worn in an associated one of a pair of ears. A pair of earmuffs is provided and each of the earmuffs is selectively worn on an associated one the ears. Each of the earmuffs has a hole therein and each of the earphones is selectively extended through the hole in an associated one of the earmuffs. In this way the earmuffs are worn in conjunction with the earphones. Each of the earmuffs is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to keep the ears warm in a cold environment.

An improved system and method for an eye patch can comprise a patch and a pad. The patch can be substantially flat and flexible. Furthermore, the patch can comprise a bottom surface, a top surface, and a concave edge. The bottom surface can comprise an adhesive capable of temporarily attaching to a skin. The concave edge can be on one side of the patch. Additionally, the concave edge can substantially match the anatomical curve of a human's eye socket. The pad can be a raised portion on the patch that can be capable of pushing upper natural eyelashes upward when a client closes her eyes. The pad can be attachable along the concave edge.

An ear protector is provided that comprises a hollow body defining a cavity suitable for receiving an ear; a first fastening means; and a second fastening means. The hollow body is provided with an orifice that has an open configuration, in which an ear can pass through the orifice, and a reduced size configuration, in which said ear cannot pass through the orifice. The hollow body has a stretched configuration, in which an ear can be freely moved with respect to the cavity, and an engaging configuration, in which at least a portion of the hollow body has a reduced size as compared to the stretched configuration and in which said ear cannot be freely moved with respect to the cavity. The first fastening means substantially encircles the orifice and is elastic in nature, wherein the elastic nature of the first fastening means serves to bias the orifice into the reduced size configuration and wherein the first fastening means can be stretched to place the orifice into the open configuration. The second fastening means substantially encircles the first fastening means and is elastic in nature, wherein the elastic nature of the second fastening means serves to bias the hollow body into the engaging configuration and wherein the second fastening means can be stretched to place the hollow body into the stretched configuration.
