METHOD FOR PREVENTING ADHESION OF ATMOSPHERIC TOXIC SUBSTANCE
Disclosed is a method for suppressing adhesion of air harmful substances, including applying an external preparation to skin to suppress adhesion of air pollutants to the skin, wherein the external preparation contains the following component (A) and component (B), and the ratio by mass of the content of the component (A) to the content of the component (B) in the external preparation [(A)/(B)] is 0.30 or more and 5.0 or less. Component (A): a metal oxide having an average primary particle diameter d.sub.A of 800 nm or less. Component (B): non-disintegrable particles having an average particle diameter D.sub.B of 1 μm or more and 10 μm or less.
COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
A composition is provided. The composition is a water-in-oil emulsion comprising an aqueous phase and an oil phase. The aqueous phase comprises water, one or more humectants, one or more preservatives, one or more preservative boosters, one or more stabilizers and/or one or more pH adjusters. The oil phase comprises one or more solvents, one or more emulsifiers, one or more emollients and/or one or more aesthetic modifiers. Methods of preparing the composition and methods of improving the appearance of skin are also provided.
Cosmetics composition having improved water absorbability and oil absorbability
A cosmetics composition having improved water absorbability and oil absorbability is provided. The cosmetics composition effectively controls sweat and sebum, thereby making it possible to improve persistence of make-up and to keep skin from looking dull.
Metal oxide particles and method of producing the same
A method of producing efficiently and stably core-shell type oxide particles, wherein the entire surface of the core oxide particles is uniformly coated with the shell oxide, includes at least two steps of: Step 1 of precipitating the core oxide particles in a mixed fluid prepared by mixing an oxide raw material liquid for core and an oxide precipitation solvent and Step 2 of coating the entire surface of the core oxide particles uniformly with the shell oxide by mixing the mixed fluid and an oxide raw material liquid for shell. (A) At least Steps 1 and 2 are performed continuously between at least two processing surfaces 1 and 2 which are capable of approaching to and separating from each other, at least one of which rotates relatively to the other; (B) after Step 1, Step 2 is completed within a prescribed time during which the core oxide particles do not aggregate in the mixed fluid; or (C) Step 1 and Step 2 are controlled so that the primary particle diameter of the core-shell type oxide particles is 190% or less relative to the primary particle diameter of the core oxide particles.
Oolitic Aragonite Beads and Methods Therefor
Disclosed herein are compositions comprising oolitic aragonite particles, wherein the oolitic aragonite particles have an average particle size of between 100 nm to 1 mm, and a Hunter brightness level greater than 88. Further disclosed herein are personal care and/or cosmetic compositions, comprising a carrier and the aforementioned oolitic aragonite particles. Further disclosed herein are methods of making and using the oolitic aragonite particles.
SKIN PERFECTING COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE
