An object is to provide particles excellent in biodegradability, tactile sensation, and lipophilicity.
Provided are particles containing cellulose acetate, in which the particles have an average particle size of not less than 80 nm and not greater than 100 μm, a sphericity of not less than 0.7 and not greater than 1.0, a degree of surface smoothness of not less than 80% and not greater than 100%, and a surface contact angle with water of not less than 100°; and a total degree of acetyl substitution of the cellulose acetate is not less than 0.7 and not greater than 2.9.

Provided is an elastomer that improves the skin feel of an inorganic powder. The elastomer according to the present invention is an elastomer comprising: (A) an amino group-containing silicone polymer; and (B) a carboxyl group-containing silicone polymer or a carboxyl group-containing acrylamide polymer, wherein a molar ratio Y/X between amino groups and carboxyl groups is within a range of 0.1 to 1.2, wherein Y denotes the molar amount of carboxyl groups contained in the component (B), and X denotes the molar amount of amino groups contained in the component (A).

The present invention relates to a powder complex for cosmetics and a cosmetic composition comprising thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a powder complex for cosmetics for improving easy-to-clean of the cosmetic powder with water repellency and a cosmetic composition comprising thereof. The powder complex for cosmetic of the present invention has a technical feature that the amphipathic copolymer having a specific structure is adsorbed on the surface of the hydrophobized powder. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention can exhibit an excellent effect of cleaning, with excellent makeup durability.
Compositions, kits and methods for coloring fibers
There is disclosed a method of producing a coating on an external surface of individual mammalian hair fibers, the method comprising (a) applying on the external surface of the individual fibers, an oil-in-water emulsion including an amino-silicone film forming pre-polymer, so as to form an at least partially cured amino-silicone film; and (b) applying an aqueous dispersion on said amino-silicone film, to produce an overlying, optionally pigmented, polymeric film that coats said at least partially cured amino-silicone film; wherein the aqueous dispersion contains: (i) a polymeric material having neutralized acid moieties; and optionally (ii) a plurality of pigment particles, at least partially enveloped by the polymeric material, and dispersed within said aqueous dispersion. Suitable coating or coloring compositions and kits including the same are also disclosed, as well as methods for preparing the compositions or removing films formed therewith.
Hydrogel capsules and process for preparing the same
This invention is a hydrogel capsule with a fragrance encapsulated therein during the polymerization process. The hydrogel capsule is of use in fabric care or personal care formulations.
