A method of manufacturing a series of capsules (1A) comprising a core (3), and a gelled envelope (5) completely encapsulating the core and comprising at least two external phases (5A, 5B), wherein the gelled envelope has a external surface comprising at least two distinct portions (7A, 7B) formed respectively by the two external phases, and comprising the following steps: conveying a first flow (F1) that is intended to form the core, and a second flow (F2) of at least the two external phases that are intended to form the gelled envelope, wherein each external phase contains a liquid polyelectrolyte that is able to gel, at least one of the two external phases comprising a coloring agent, while the second flow surrounds the first flux about an axis (D2); successive formation of a plurality of liquid bodies (57) comprising a drop (107), and a film coating (109) coating the drop and having the two external phases, wherein the film has on its external surface at least two portions (109A, 109B) formed by the two external phases; and immersing each liquid body in a gelling solution (100) adapted to react with the polyelectrolyte of each of the two external phases, and recovering of the plurality of capsules. COMPOSITIONS FOR COSMETIC RAW MATERIAL AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
The instant invention relates to a composition for cosmetic raw material containing microcapsule containing one core, a first laminated coating surrounding the core having at least 45% in weight with respect to the total weight of a microcapsule of multilayered reflecting particles having at least a mixture of two metal oxides, and a second laminated coating surrounding the first layered coating, having at least 10% to 40% in weight of titanium dioxide with respect to the total weight of a microcapsule, wherein the multilayered reflecting particles are released from the at least one microcapsule only when the composition is applied onto a keratinic material, such as keratin fibers or skin. The invention further relates to a process for preparing the composition for cosmetic raw material containing microcapsule containing the same.

A multistage colored polymer particle is provided, having a core comprising polymerized units of a monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid core monomer and a non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated core monomer; an inner shell comprising polymerized units of a non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated inner shell monomer; a monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid inner shell monomer; optionally, an aliphatic inner shell monomer; and, optionally, a first polymerizable dye monomer; an outer shell comprising polymerized units of a non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated outer shell monomer; a monoethylenically unsaturated non-carboxylic acid outer shell monomer; optionally, a second polymerizable dye monomer; and, optionally, an aliphatic outer shell monomer; wherein the core, when dry, contains at least one void; and wherein the multistage colored polymer particle comprises polymerized units of polymerizable dye monomer. Skin care formulations comprising multistage colored polymer particles and methods of using same are also provided.

The present invention relates to a method for producing a multi-capsule, the method including steps of: (a) preparing a coating solution by mixing purified water, titanium dioxide, mica, a hydrophobic polymer, cellulose gum, and sucrose; and (b) drying the coating solution prepared in step (a) while spraying the coating solution through a spray nozzle of a fluid bed dryer after introducing a spherical seed of a colorant component for a cosmetic; or a starch or sucrose spherical seed coated with a functional component into the fluid bed dryer, a multi-capsule produced by the method, and a cosmetic composition containing the multi-capsule as an active component.
Particulate metal oxide particles comprising a metal oxide core and a coating layer comprising an inorganic material, a silane coupling agent and/or a hydrophobizing agent
A particulate metal oxide has a metal oxide core and a coating layer containing an inorganic material and (i) a quaternary silane coupling agent, and/or (ii) a silane coupling agent and a hydrophobizing agent. Preferred materials are titanium dioxide core particles, an amino organosilane coupling agent and a fatty acid hydrophobizing agent. The particulate metal oxide is suitable for use in forming a dispersion, and the particles and dispersion can be used in an end-use sunscreen composition which is transparent, exhibits effective UV absorption properties, reduced photoactivity, and/or improved skin feel.

A multistage colored polymer particle is provided, having a core comprising polymerized units of a monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid core monomer and a non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated core monomer; an inner shell comprising polymerized units of a non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated inner shell monomer; a monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid inner shell monomer; optionally, an aliphatic inner shell monomer; and, optionally, a first polymerizable dye monomer; an outer shell comprising polymerized units of a non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated outer shell monomer; a monoethylenically unsaturated non-carboxylic acid outer shell monomer; optionally, a second polymerizable dye monomer; and, optionally, an aliphatic outer shell monomer; wherein the core, when dry, contains at least one void; and wherein the multistage colored polymer particle comprises polymerized units of polymerizable dye monomer. Skin care formulations comprising multistage colored polymer particles and methods of using same are also provided.
TOPICAL COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to specific topical compositions comprising bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (BEMT), butyloctyl salicylate and at least one inorganic UV-filter selected from titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Said compositions exhibit an appealing skin feel and look.
