A method and a hand-held device for dermaplaning is disclosed that includes a blade assembly which includes a blade, a blade holder and a safety cage. In accordance with an important aspect of the invention, the safety cage limits the amount of penetration of the blade into the facial skin to enable the device to be safely used by non-professionals. The dermaplaning device includes a vibration generator that causes the blade to vibrate at a predetermined frequency. Various embodiments of the hand-held dermaplaning device are disclosed for vibrating the blade.

A noninvasive method for tightening loose neck skin embodying a non-expensive, indiscrete external tensioning device is provided. The tensioning device is adapted to physically tension and tighten the loose neck skin. The tensioning device may be an elongated thin sheath defining a first surface and an opposing second surface. The first surface provides an adhesive portion that may be adhered to the back of a user's neck is such a manner so as to pull their frontal neck skin upward and backward for effectuating a noninvasive facelift thereof. Embedded between the first and second surfaces may be an integrated memory wire adaptable to move to a pinched condition providing additional tension force between the opposing ends of the tensioning device, and in turn to the neck skin.

The present invention relates to a skin care device capable of simultaneously performing optical care and fine current care without the occurrence of electrical interference therebetween, and provides a skin care device comprising: a flexible circuit board; at least one light source element provided on one surface of the flexible circuit board; a first case on which the flexible circuit board is mounted; a hole provided in the first case and exposing the light source element; a connection part provided on a surface including the hole of the first case; an electrode patch, which can be attached/detached to/from the connection part, is electrically connected to the flexible circuit board while connected to the connection part, and includes a plurality of electrode elements forming at least one positive electrode and at least one negative electrode; and a control part connected to the flexible circuit board so as to apply voltage to the light source element or the electrode elements.

Method of preparing dry hydrogel sheet and dry hydrogel sheet prepared by the same
The present invention relates to a method of preparing a dry hydrogel sheet including the steps of: preparing a cellulose ether dispersion solution; transferring the dispersion solution to a coater while maintaining the temperature of the dispersion solution in the range of a gelation temperature of the dispersion solution to a boiling point of a dispersion medium; applying the dispersion solution transferred to the coater as a sheet; preparing a hydrogel sheet by cooling the applied dispersion solution to induce gelation; and drying the hydrogel sheet. Since the dry hydrogel sheet prepared by the method has a low moisture content, it is possible to ensure the stability of active ingredients, quantify functional components to be applied to the dry hydrogel sheet, and ensure the uniformity of the surface appearance and thickness of the dry hydrogel sheet, which results in the improvement of the quality of a final product.
