System and method for remote peritoneal dialysis exchanges
A system and method is provided to allow multiple patients to receive peritoneal dialysis treatment at a walk-in facility without having to keep fresh dialysis solution on hand themselves. The walk-in facility is enabled to receive a peritoneal dialysis prescription from a patient, verify the prescription, determine the appropriate treatment for the patient, provide the patient with the appropriate dialysis solution in the appropriate amount, and enable the patient to undergo a dialysis treatment at the facility. The walk-in facility can also be enabled to monitor the patient's home dialysis treatment and to adjust the patient's treatment at the facility accordingly. The facility can be enabled to produce dialysis solution on demand by manufacturing the solution from solution components according to a patient's prescription. Moreover, the facility can use a sorbent system to regenerate effluent dialysis solution into fresh dialysis solution.
DIALYSIS WALL BOX APPARATUS AND WALL CHASE SYSTEM
A wall box apparatus and building wall chase system is described. A wall box apparatus is configured to operatively reduce the number of fluid line joints connected to building and machinery plumbing lines, and more particularly to dialysis treatment facilities and kidney-dialysis machines, respectively. A space-saving wall chase system is configured using the wall box to connect plumbing lines in a dialysis treatment facility to dialysis machines.
MEASURING APPARATUS FOR THE ONLINE MEASUREMENT OF AT LEAST ONE PROPERTY OF PROCESS LIQUIDS AT AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT FLOW RATES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A MEDICAL LIQUID
In order to reduce the number of redundant sensors for measuring a property of process liquids in liquid-carrying production systems, there is proposed a measuring apparatus (100) for the online measurement of at least one property of process liquids at at least two different flow rates and during the production of a medical liquid, which measuring apparatus has a tank (4) for receiving the process liquid, a hollow accumulation vessel (7), which is arranged within the tank (4), in a side wall of the tank (4) or on a side wall of the tank (4) and through which the process liquid can flow depending on the filling level in the tank (4), said accumulation vessel having at least one lower opening (20) and at least one upper opening (30) which are fluidically connected to the interior of the tank (4) such that process liquid can flow from the hollow accumulation vessel (7) into the tank, and a sensor (6) for measuring at least one property of the process liquid, which sensor is arranged in the hollow accumulation vessel (7).
Blood purification system
The blood purification system includes a plurality of monitoring devices (1) with a dialyzer (5) to perform a blood purification treatment on a patient. A dialysate supplying device (2) supplies a dialysate to each of the monitoring devices (1). The plurality of monitoring devices (1) and the dialysate supplying device (2) are connected to each other by a LAN cable . Predetermined information can be transmitted from the dialysate supplying device (2) to a specified monitoring device (1), out of the plurality of monitoring devices (1). The specified monitoring device (1) can perform an individual operation.
Blood purification system
A blood purification system includes a plurality of monitoring devices (1) each attached to a dialyzer (5) to perform a blood purification treatment on a patient. A dialysate supplying device (2) supplies a dialysate to each of the monitoring devices (1). The plurality of monitoring devices (1) and the dialysate supplying device (2) are connected to each other by a LAN cable . Thus, predetermined individual information relating to the plurality of monitoring devices (1) is transmitted from each of the monitoring devices (1) to the dialysate supplying device (2).
Dialysis treatment facility wall-box apparatus
A dialysis treatment facility wall-box apparatus is disclosed. The dialysis treatment facility wall-box comprises a main body having a first portion and a second portion. Further, the dialysis treatment facility wall-box apparatus comprises a tether line connected to the first portion of the main body of the dialysis treatment facility wall-box apparatus via an anchor fitting. The anchor fitting is tightened through the dialysis treatment facility wall-box apparatus. A plurality of fly loop lines is positioned at inner portion and outer portion of the wall-box. A tea fitting is coupled to the anchor fitting through the plurality of fly loop lines at the inner portion. Further, the dialysis treatment facility wall-box apparatus comprises a first plurality of loops and a second plurality of loops.
BLOOD PURIFICATION APPARATUS
The present teachings relate to a blood purification apparatus in which the connection of a substitution line to a collecting port can be checked accurately and instantly and even during blood purification treatment. A blood purification apparatus includes a blood circuit, a dialyzer, a dialysate introduction line, a dialysate drain line, a substitution line one end of which is connected to a collecting port provided at a predetermined position of the dialysate introduction line and an other end of which is connected to the blood circuit, a substitution pump configured to form a pressure-increasing portion that includes the collecting port, and a pressure-measuring device capable of measuring a pressure in the pressure-increasing portion. The blood purification apparatus performs a testing process by increasing a liquid pressure in the pressure-increasing portion by utilizing a liquid-feeding pressure applied from a liquid-feeding device and measuring the pressure with the pressure-measuring device.
Method and apparatus for zirconium oxide recharging
Methods and related apparatuses for sorbent recharging are provided. The methods and related apparatuses for recharging can recharge a specific rechargeable layer of a sorbent material such as zirconium oxide and/or zirconium phosphate in a sorbent cartridge. The methods and apparatuses include passing solutions containing aqueous basic solutions through the zirconium oxide. The apparatus allows for recharging the zirconium oxide, and also for recharging zirconium phosphate, wherein the sorbent materials are contained in reusable sorbent modules.
